• They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.
  उन्होंने अल्लाह की कड़ी - कड़ी क़समें खाकर कहा," जो मर जाता है उसे अल्लाह नहीं उठाएगा ।" क्यों नहीं ? यह तो एक वादा है, जिसे पूरा करना उसके लिए अनिवार्य है - किन्तु अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं । -

  यदि निकट ही कुछ मिलनेवाला होता और सफ़र भी हलका होता तो वे अवश्य तुम्हारे पीछे चल पड़ते, किन्तु मार्ग की दूरी उन्हें कठिन और बहुत दीर्घ प्रतीत हुई । अब वे अल्लाह की क़समें खाएँगे कि," यदि हममें इसकी सामर्थ्य होती तो हम अवश्य तुम्हारे साथ निकलते ।" वे अपने आपको तबाही में डाल रहे है और अल्लाह भली - भाँति जानता है कि निश्चय ही वे झूठे है

• They swear by Allah that they said nothing, but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they did it after accepting Islam ; and they meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out: this revenge of theirs was only return for the bounty with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them ; but if they turn back, Allah will punish them with a grievous penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: They shall have none on earth to protect or help them.
  ये मुनाफेक़ीन ख़ुदा की क़समें खाते है कि नहीं कही हालॉकि उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र का कलमा ज़रूर कहा और अपने इस्लाम के बाद काफिर हो गए और जिस बात पर क़ाबू न पा सके उसे ठान बैठे और उन लोगें ने सिर्फ इस वजह से अदावत की कि अपने फज़ल व करम से ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल ने दौलत मन्द बना दिया है तो उनके लिए उसमें ख़ैर है कि ये लोग अब भी तौबा कर लें और अगर ये न मानेगें तो ख़ुदा उन पर दुनिया और आख़िरत में दर्दनाक अज़ाब नाज़िल फरमाएगा और तमाम दुनिया में उन का न कोई हामी होगा और न मददगार

• On the Day that the Hour will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!
  और जिस दिन क़यामत बरपा होगी तो गुनाहगार लोग कसमें खाएँगें कि वह घड़ी भर से ज्यादा नहीं ठहरे यूँ ही लोग इफ़तेरा परदाज़ियाँ करते रहे

• They swear unto you, that ye may accept them. Though ye accept them. Allah verily accepteth not wrongdoing folk.
