  और तू ही इस दुनिया और आख़िरत में हमारे वास्ते भलाई के लिए लिख ले हम तेरी ही तरफ रूझू करते हैं ख़ुदा ने फरमाया जिसको मैं चाहता हूँ अपना अज़ाब पहुँचा देता हूँ और मेरी रहमत हर चीज़ पर छाई हैं मै तो उसे बहुत जल्द ख़ास उन लोगों के लिए लिख दूँगा बचते रहेंगे और ज़कात दिया करेंगे और जो हमारी बातों पर ईमान रखा करेंगें

• O you who believe! do not violate the signs appointed by Allah nor the sacred month, nor the offerings, nor the sacrificial animals with garlands, nor those going to the sacred house seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord ; and when you are free from the obligations of the pilgrimage, then hunt, and let not hatred of a people - - because they hindered you from the Sacred Masjid - - incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression ; and be careful of Allah ; surely Allah is severe in requiting.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! अल्लाह की निशानियों का अनादर न करो ; न आदर के महीनों का, न क़ुरबानी के जानवरों का और न जानवरों का जिनका गरदनों में पट्टे पड़े हो और न उन लोगों का जो अपने रब के अनुग्रह और उसकी प्रसन्नता की चाह में प्रतिष्ठित गृह को जाते हो । और जब इहराम की दशा से बाहर हो जाओ तो शिकार करो । और ऐसा न हो कि एक गिरोह की शत्रुता, जिसने तुम्हारे लिए प्रतिष्ठित घर का रास्ता बन्द कर दिया था, तुम्हें इस बात पर उभार दे कि तुम ज़्यादती करने लगो । हक़ अदा करने और ईश - भय के काम में तुम एक - दूसरे का सहयोग करो और हक़ मारने और ज़्यादती के काम में एक - दूसरे का सहयोग न करो । अल्लाह का डर रखो ; निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा कठोर दंड देनेवाला है

• Are they waiting for anything but for the angels to come to them, or for your Lord to arrive, or for some of your Lord’s signs to come ? On the Day when some of your Lord’s signs come, no soul will benefit from its faith unless it had believed previously, or had earned goodness through its faith. Say, “ Wait, we too are waiting. ”
  या तुम्हारा परवरदिगार खुद आये या तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की कुछ निशानियाँ आ जाएं हालांकि जिस दिन तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की बाज़ निशानियाँ आ जाएंगी तो जो शख्स पहले से ईमान नहीं लाया होगा या अपने मोमिन होने की हालत में कोई नेक काम नहीं किया होगा तो अब उसका ईमान लाना उसको कुछ भी मुफ़ीद न होगा - तुम कह दो कि तुम इन्तिज़ार करो हम भी इन्तिज़ार करते हैं

• O you who believe! when you confer together in private, do not give to each other counsel of sin and revolt and disobedience to the Apostle, and give to each other counsel of goodness and guarding ; and be careful of Allah, to Whom you shall be gathered together.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! जब तुम आपस में गुप्त ॥ वार्ता करो तो गुनाह और ज़्यादती और रसूल की अवज्ञा की गुप्त वार्ता न करो, बल्कि नेकी और परहेज़गारी के विषय में आपस में एकान्त वार्ता करो । और अल्लाह का डर रखो, जिसके पास तुम इकट्ठे होगे

• And they attribute to God what they themselves dislike, while their tongues utter the lie that theirs is the goodness. Without a doubt, for them is the Fire, and they will be neglected.
  और ये लोग खुद जिन बातों को पसन्द नहीं करते उनको ख़ुदा के वास्ते क़रार देते हैं और अपनी ही ज़बान से ये झूठे दावे भी करते हैं कि उन्हीं के लिए भलाई है हाँ उनके लिए जहन्नुम की आग ज़रुरी है और यही लोग सबसे पहले झोंके जाएँगें

• These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first.
  यही लोग अलबत्ता नेकियों में जल्दी करते हैं और भलाई की तरफ लपक के आगे बढ़ जाते हैं

• Allah has sent down the best statement, a Book, its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft - repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it. Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He Guides therewith whom He pleases and whomever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide.
  अल्लाह ने सर्वोत्तम वाणी अवतरित की, एक ऐसी किताब जिसके सभी भाग परस्पर मिलते - जुलते है, जो रुख़ फेर देनेवाली है । उससे उन लोगों के रोंगटे खड़े हो जाते है जो अपने रब से डरते है । फिर उनकी खालें और उनके दिल नर्म होकर अल्लाह की याद की ओर झुक जाते है । वह अल्लाह का मार्गदर्शन है, उसके द्वारा वह सीधे मार्ग पर ले आता है, जिसे चाहता है । और जिसको अल्लाह पथभ्रष्ट रहने दे, फिर उसके लिए कोई मार्गदर्शक नहीं

• Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness ?
  भला नेकी का बदला नेकी के सिवा कुछ और भी है

• but no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self - restraint - - no one is granted it save those who are truly fortunate.
  किन्तु यह चीज़ केवल उन लोगों को प्राप्त होती है जो धैर्य से काम लेते है, और यह चीज़ केवल उसको प्राप्त होती है जो बड़ा भाग्यशाली होता है

• Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness ?
  अच्छाई का बदला अच्छाई के सिवा और क्या हो सकता है ?
