  कारण, जिस प्रकार आत्मा काजबतक वह विश्व में रहती हैसर्वोच्च पत्ता के साथ यथार्थ सम्बन्ध इसमें है कि वह न तो अहंभावयुक्त ढंग से अपनी पृथक् सत्ता की पुष्टि करे और न परिभाषातीत सत्ता में अपने - आपको मिटा ही डाले, बल्कि भगवान् और जगत् के साथ अपनी एकता स्थापित करके व्यक्ति में इन दोनों को संयुक्त और दे, उसी प्रकार व्यक्ति का समूह के साथ यथार्थ सम्बन्ध न हो अहंभावयुक्त ढंग से बिना अपने साथियों की ओर ध्यान दिये अपनी भौतिक या मानसिक उन्नति को साधित करना या आध्यात्मिक मोक्ष को प्राप्त करना है और न समाज की खातिर अपने विकास को रोकना या कुचलना है; बल्कि उसे अपने अन्दर अपने विकास की सर्वश्रेष्ठ और पूर्णतम सम्भावनाओं को एकत्र करके उन्हें विचार, कर्म और अन्य समस्त साधनों के द्वारा अपने चारों ओर उंडेल देना है, जिससे समस्त जाति उस उपलब्धि के अधिक निकट पहुंच सके जिसे उसके महान् व्यक्ति पहले प्राप्त कर चुके हैं ।
