• There shall be no compulsion in religion: true guidance has become distinct from error. But whoever refuses to be led by Satan and believes in God has grasped the strong handhold that will never break. God is all hearing and all knowing.

• O men, the Apostle has now come to you, bringing the truth from your Lord ; so believe for your own good ; but if you deny that all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God ; and God is all - knowing and all - wise.
  ऐ लोगों! रसूल तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की ओर से सत्य लेकर आ गया है । अतः तुम उस भलाई को मानो जो तुम्हारे लिए जुटाई गई । और यदि तुम इनकार करते हो तो आकाशों और धरती में जो कुछ है, वह अल्लाह ही का है । और अल्लाह सब कुछ जाननेवाला, तत्वदर्शी है

• Have they not travelled around the earth and seen the fate of those who preceded them ? And they were far superior to them in strength. Nothing in the heavens or the earth can ever frustrate God ' s. He is all - knowing and all powerful.
  तो क्या उन लोगों ने रूए ज़मीन पर चल फिर कर नहीं देखा कि जो लोग उनके पहले थे और उनसे ज़ोर व कूवत में भी कहीं बढ़ - चढ़ के थे फिर उनका क्या अन्जाम हुआ और खुदा ऐसा नहीं है कि उसे कोई चीज़ आजिज़ कर सके आसमानों में और न ज़मीन में बेशक वह बड़ा ख़बरदार बड़ी कुदरत वाला है

• O men, if you are in doubt as to the Uprising, surely We created you of dust then of a sperm - drop, then of a blood clot, then of a lump of flesh, formed and unformed that We may make clear to you. And We establish in the wombs what We will, till a stated term, then We deliver you as infants, then that you may come of age ; and some of you die, and some of you are kept back unto the vilest state of life, that after knowing somewhat, they may know nothing. And thou beholdest the earth blackened, then, when We send down water upon it, it quivers, and swells, and puts forth herbs of every joyous kind.
  लोगों अगर तुमको दोबारा जी उठने में किसी तरह का शक है तो इसमें शक नहीं कि हमने तुम्हें शुरू - शुरू मिट्टी से उसके बाद नुत्फे से उसके बाद जमे हुए ख़ून से फिर उस लोथड़े से जो पूरा या अधूरा हो पैदा किया ताकि तुम पर ज़ाहिर करें करना क्या मुश्किल है और हम औरतों के पेट में जिस को चाहते हैं एक मुद्दत मुअय्यन तक ठहरा रखते हैं फिर तुमको बच्चा बनाकर निकालते हैं फिर ताकि तुम अपनी जवानी को पहुँचो और तुममें से कुछ लोग तो ऐसे हैं जो मर जाते हैं और तुम में से कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जो नाकारा ज़िन्दगी बुढ़ापे तक फेर लाए हैं जातें ताकि समझने के बाद सठिया के कुछ भी न समझ सके और तो ज़मीन को मुर्दा देख रहा है फिर जब हम उस पर पानी बरसा देते हैं तो लहलहाने और उभरने लगती है और हर तरह की ख़ुशनुमा चीज़ें उगती है तो ये क़ुदरत के तमाशे इसलिए दिखाते हैं ताकि तुम जानो

• There are among them unlettered people who have no real knowledge of the Scriptures, knowing only their own wishful thinking and following only conjecture.
  और उनमें सामान्य बेपढ़े भी हैं जिन्हें किताब का ज्ञान नहीं है, बस कुछ कामनाओं एवं आशाओं को धर्म जानते हैं, और वे तो बस अटकल से काम लेते हैं

• The Prophet once told one of his wives something in confidence. She did not keep it secret and God informed him of this ; he made known a part of it, and avoided part of it. When he spoke to his wife of this, she asked him who had told him about it. He replied," The All knowing, the All Aware One."
  जब नबी ने अपनी पत्ऩियों में से किसी से एक गोपनीय बात कही, फिर जब उसने उसकी ख़बर कर दी और अल्लाह ने उसे उसपर ज़ाहिर कर दिया, तो उसने उसे किसी हद तक बता दिया और किसी हद तक टाल गया । फिर जब उसने उसकी उसे ख़बर की तो वह बोली," आपको इसकी ख़बर किसने दी ?" उसने कहा," मुझे उसने ख़बर दी जो सब कुछ जाननेवाला, ख़बर रखनेवाला है ।"

• O mankind! The Apostle has certainly brought you the truth from your Lord. So have faith! That is better for you. And if you are faithless, to Allah indeed belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and Allah is all - knowing, all - wise.
