  हुआ भी यही कि उसका सारा फल घिराव में आ गया । उसने उसमें जो कुछ लागत लगाई थी, उसपर वह अपनी हथेलियों को नचाता रह गया. और स्थिति यह थी कि बाग़ अपनी टट्टियों पर हा पड़ा था और वह कह रहा था," क्या ही अच्छा होता कि मैंने अपने रब के साथ किसी को साझीदार न बनाया होता!"

• And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said," My lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."
  और ख़ुदा ने मोमिनीन के लिए फिरऔन की बीवी की मिसाल बयान फ़रमायी है कि जब उसने दुआ की परवरदिगार मेरे लिए अपने यहाँ बेहिश्त में एक घर बना और मुझे फिरऔन और उसकी कारस्तानी से नजात दे और मुझे ज़ालिम लोगो से छुटकारा अता फ़रमा

And that which has been revealed to you from your lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war, Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
  और यहूदी कहते है," अल्लाह का हाथ बँध गया है ।" उन्हीं के हाथ - बँधे है, और फिटकार है उनपर, उस बकबास के कारण जो वे करते है, बल्कि उसके दोनो हाथ तो खुले हुए है । वह जिस तरह चाहता है, ख़र्च करता है । जो कुछ तुम्हारे रब की ओर से तुम्हारी ओर उतारा गया है, उससे अवश्य ही उनके अधिकतर लोगों की सरकशी और इनकार ही में अभिवृद्धि होगी । और हमने उनके बीच क़ियामत तक के लिए शत्रुता और द्वेष डाल दिया है । वे जब भी युद्ध की आग भड़काते है, अल्लाह उसे बुझा देता है । वे धरती में बिगाड़ फैलाने के लिए प्रयास कर रहे है, हालाँकि अल्लाह बिगाड़ फैलानेवालों को पसन्द नहीं करता

• Indeed, your lord is Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and then willed to the Throne, directing affairs. There is no intercessor except by His permission. Such is Allah your lord, therefore worship Him. Will you not remember ?
  इसमें तो शक़ ही नहीं कि तुमरा परवरदिगार वही ख़ुदा है जिसने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन को 6 दिन में पैदा किया फिर उसने अर्श को बुलन्द किया वही हर काम का इन्तज़ाम करता है कोई सिफारिशी नहीं मगर उसकी इजाज़त के बाद वही ख़ुदा तो तुम्हारा परवरदिगार है तो उसी की इबादत करो तो क्या तुम अब भी ग़ौर नही करते

• Aaron had certainly told them earlier, ‘O my people! You are only being tested by it. Indeed your lord is the All - beneficent. So follow me and obey my command! ’
  और हारून ने उनसे पहले कहा भी था कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम तुम्हारा सिर्फ़ इसके ज़रिये से इम्तिहान किया जा रहा है और इसमें शक नहीं कि तम्हारा परवरदिगार तो तुम मेरी पैरवी करो और मेरा कहा मानो

• But when He tests him and tightens for him his provision, he says, ‘My lord has humiliated me. ’
  किन्तु जब कभी वह उसकी परीक्षा इस प्रकार करता है कि उसकी रोज़ी नपी - तुली कर देता है, तो वह कहता है," मेरे रब ने मेरा अपमान किया ।"

• They became divided only after knowledge had reached them, out of mutual jealousy. Had it not been for a decree already passed by your lord, till a specified period, the matter would surely have been decided between them. Those who inherited the Book after them are indeed in grave doubt, amounting to suspicion about it.
  उन्होंने तो परस्पर एक - दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करने के उद्देश्य से इसके पश्चात विभेद किया कि उनके पास ज्ञान आ चुका था । और यदि तुम्हारे रब की ओर से एक नियत अवधि तक के लिए बात पहले निश्चित न हो चुकी होती तो उनके बीच फ़ैसला चुका दिया गया होता । किन्तु जो लोग उनके पश्चात किताब के वारिस हुए वे उसकी ओर से एक उलझन में डाल देनेवाले संदेह में पड़े हुए है
