  यह सच है कि निरपेक्ष ब्रह्म की चेतना प्राप्त करना ज्ञानयोग की पराकाष्ठा है और भगवान् की प्राप्ति उसका पहला, सबसे महान् तथा उत्कट ध्येय है और किसी निम्न ज्ञान के लिये इस लक्ष्य की उपेक्षा करने का अर्थ है हमारे पूर्ण ४६८ योग - समन्वय योग को हीनता या यहांतक कि क्षुद्रता से ग्रस्त करना और उसके विशिष्ट लक्ष्य से भ्रष्ट होना या दूर रहना, परन्तु भगवान् का निज स्वरूप ज्ञात हो जाने पर ज्ञानयोग हमारी सत्ता के विभिन्न स्तरों पर हमारे साथ तथा जगत् के साथ नानाविध सम्बन्ध रखनेवाले भगवान् का ज्ञान भी भली - भांति प्राप्त कर सकता है ।
