  और किताबवालों में कोई तो ऐसा है कि यदि तुम उसके पास धन - दौलच का एक ढेर भी अमानत रख दो तो वह उसे तुम्हें लौटा देगा । और उनमें कोई ऐसा है कि यदि तुम एक दीनार भी उसकी अमानत में रखों, तो जब तक कि तुम उसके सिर पर सवार न हो, वह उसे तुम्हें अदा नहीं करेगा । यह इसलिए कि वे कहते है," उन लोगों के विषय में जो किताबवाले नहीं हैं हमारी कोई पकड़ नहीं ।" और वे जानते - बूझते अल्लाह पर झूठ मढ़ते है

• You are permitted on the night of the fast to go into your wives: they are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them. Allah knew that you would betray yourselves, so He pardoned you and excused you. So now consort with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white streak becomes manifest to you from the dark streak at the crack of dawn. Then complete the fast until nightfall, and do not consort with them while you dwell in confinement in the mosques. These are Allah’s bounds, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah clarify His signs for mankind so that they may be Godwary.
  ताकि वह सीधी राह पर आ जाए तुम्हारे वास्ते रोज़ों की रातों में अपनी बीवियों के पास जाना हलाल कर दिया गया औरतें तुम्हारी चोली हैं और तुम ख़ुदा ने देखा कि तुम करके अपना नुकसान करते तो उसने तुम्हारी तौबा क़ुबूल की और तुम्हारी ख़ता से दर गुज़र किया पस तुम अब उनसे हम बिस्तरी करो और जो कुछ ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारे लिए लिख दिया है उसे माँगों और खाओ और पियो यहाँ तक कि सुबह की सफेद धारी काली धारी से आसमान पर पूरब की तरफ़ तक तुम्हें साफ नज़र आने लगे फिर रात तक रोज़ा पूरा करो और हाँ जब तुम मस्ज़िदों में एतेकाफ़ करने बैठो तो उन से हम बिस्तरी न करो ये ख़ुदा की हदे हैं तो तुम उनके पास भी न जाना यूँ खुल्लम खुल्ला ख़ुदा अपने एहकाम लोगों के सामने बयान करता है ताकि वह लोग बचें

• O you who have faith! Do not betray Allah and the Apostle, and do not betray your trusts knowingly.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! जानते - बुझते तुम अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ विश्वासघात न करना और न अपनी अमानतों में ख़ियानत करना

• And do not plead for those who betray themselves ; indeed Allah does not like someone who is treacherous and sinful.
  और तुम की तरफ़ होकर न लड़ो जो अपने ही से दग़ाबाज़ी करते हैं बेशक ख़ुदा ऐसे शख्स को दोस्त नहीं रखता जो दग़ाबाज़ गुनाहगार हो

  तुम्हारे लिए रोज़ो की रातों में अपनी औरतों के पास जाना जायज़ हुआ । वे तुम्हारे परिधान हैं और तुम उनका परिधान हो । अल्लाह को मालूम हो गया कि तुम लोग अपने - आपसे कपट कर रहे थे, तो उसने तुमपर कृपा की और तुम्हें क्षमा कर दिया । तो अब तुम उनसे मिलो - जुलो और अल्लाह ने जो कुछ तुम्हारे लिए लिख रखा है, उसे तलब करो । और खाओ और पियो यहाँ तक कि तुम्हें उषाकाल की सफ़ेद धारी काली धारी से स्पष्टा दिखाई दे जाए । फिर रात तक रोज़ा पूरा करो और जब तुम मस्जिदों में ' एतकाफ़ ' की हालत में हो, तो तुम उनसे न मिलो । ये अल्लाह की सीमाएँ हैं । अतः इनके निकट न जाना । इस प्रकार अल्लाह अपनी आयतें लोगों के लिए खोल - खोलकर बयान करता है, ताकि वे डर रखनेवाले बनें
