  और जो लोग सुबह व शाम अपने परवरदिगार से उसकी ख़ुशनूदी की तमन्ना में दुऑए मॉगा करते हैं - उनको अपने पास से न धुत्कारो - न उनके जवाब देही कुछ उनके ज़िम्मे है ताकि तुम उन्हें धुत्कार बताओ तो तुम ज़ालिम में हो जाओगे

• Therefore they uttered nothing when Our punishment came to them, except that they said, “ Indeed we were the unjust. ”
  कि वह लोग या तो रात की नींद सो रहे थे या दिन को क़लीला कर रहे थे तब हमारा अज़ाब उन पर आ पड़ा तो उनसे सिवाए इसके और कुछ न कहते बन पड़ा कि हम बेशक ज़ालिम थे

• Say: ' My Lord has only forbidden indecencies, the inward and the outward, and sin, and unjust insolence, and that you associate with God that for which He sent down never authority, and that you say concerning God such as you know not.
  कह दो," मेरे रब ने केवल अश्लील कर्मों को हराम किया है - जो उनमें से प्रकट हो उन्हें भी और जो छिपे हो उन्हें भी - और हक़ मारना, नाहक़ ज़्यादती और इस बात को कि तुम अल्लाह का साझीदार ठहराओ, जिसके लिए उसने कोई प्रमाण नहीं उतारा और इस बात को भी कि तुम अल्लाह पर थोपकर ऐसी बात कहो जिसका तुम्हें ज्ञान न हो ।"

• And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me ; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I can reveal the like of what Allah has revealed ? and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands: Give up your souls ; today shall you be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because you spoke against Allah other than the truth and you showed pride against His communications.
  और उससे बढ़ कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो ख़ुदा पर झूठ इफ़तेरा करके कहे कि हमारे पास वही आयी है हालॉकि उसके पास वही वगैरह कुछ भी नही आयी या वह शख़्श दावा करे कि जैसा क़ुरान ख़ुदा ने नाज़िल किया है वैसा मै भी अनक़रीब नाज़िल किए देता हूँ और काश तुम देखते कि ये ज़ालिम मौत की सख्तियों में पड़ें हैं और फरिश्ते उनकी तरफ हाथ लपका रहे हैं और कहते जाते हैं कि अपनी जानें निकालो आज ही तो तुम को रुसवाई के अज़ाब की सज़ा दी जाएगी क्योंकि तुम ख़ुदा पर नाहक़ झूठ छोड़ा करते थे और उसकी आयतों को से अकड़ा करते थे

• Or do they have associate deities who have appointed for them a religion, which Allah has not permitted ? And were it not for a Word that had already been decided, the judgement would have been passed between them here itself ; and indeed for the unjust is a painful punishment.
  या उनके कुछ ऐसे साझीदार है, जिन्होंन उनके लिए कोई ऐसा धर्म निर्धारित कर दिया है जिसकी अनुज्ञा अल्लाह ने नहीं दी ? यदि फ़ैसले की बात निश्चित न हो गई होती तो उनके बीच फ़ैसला हो चुका होता । निश्चय ही ज़ालिमों के लिए दुखद यातना है

• You will see the unjust getting terrified of their own deeds, and their deeds will certainly befall them ; and those who accepted faith and performed good deeds are in blossoming Gardens of Paradise ; for them is whatever they wish from their Lord ; this only is the great munificence.
  तुम ज़ालिमों को देखोगे कि उन्होंने जो कुछ कमाया उससे डर रहे होंगे, किन्तु वह तो उनपर पड़कर रहेगा । किन्तु जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए, वे जन्न्तों की वाटिकाओं में होंगे । उनके लिए उनके रब के पास वह सब कुछ है जिसकी वे इच्छा करेंगे । वही तो बड़ा उदार अनुग्रह है

• And two of camels and two of cows. Say: Has He forbidden the two males or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain ? Or were you witnesses when Allah enjoined you this ? Who, then, is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah that he should lead astray men without knowledge ? Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
  अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो ज़रा समझ के मुझे बताओ और ऊँट के दो और गाय के दो पूछो कि ख़ुदा ने उन दोनों नरों को हराम किया या दोनों मादनियोंको या उस बच्चे को जो दोनों मादनियों के पेट अपने अन्दर लिये हुए है क्या जिस वक्त ख़ुदा ने तुमको उसका हुक्म दिया था तुम उस वक्त मौजूद थे फिर जो ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोताहन बॉधे उससे ज्यादा ज़ालिम कौन होगा ताकि लोगों के वे समझे बूझे गुमराह करें ख़ुदा हरगिज़ ज़ालिम क़ौम में मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुचाता

• Do they have idols who have established a religion without the permission of God ? Had not it been for your Lord ' s giving them respite for an appointed time, He would certainly have settled their differences once and for all. The unjust will certainly suffer a painful torment.
  या उनके कुछ ऐसे साझीदार है, जिन्होंन उनके लिए कोई ऐसा धर्म निर्धारित कर दिया है जिसकी अनुज्ञा अल्लाह ने नहीं दी ? यदि फ़ैसले की बात निश्चित न हो गई होती तो उनके बीच फ़ैसला हो चुका होता । निश्चय ही ज़ालिमों के लिए दुखद यातना है

• Whoever ascribes falsehood to God despite of all the evidence is unjust.
  और उसको पढ़ो फिर उसके बाद भी जो कोई ख़ुदा पर झूठ तूफ़ान जोड़े तो कि यही लोग ज़ालिम हैं

• Thus was the punishment of your Lord when He punished the unjust people of the towns. The punishment of your Lord is certainly severe.
  तेरे रब की पकड़ ऐसी ही होती है, जब वह किसी ज़ालिम बस्ती को पकड़ता है । निस्संदेह उसकी पकड़ बड़ी दुखद, अत्यन्त कठोर होती है
