  ऐ आदम की सन्तान! कहीं शैतान तुम्हें बहकावे में न डाल दे, जिस प्रकार उसने तुम्हारे माँ - बाप को जन्नत से निकलवा दिया था ; उनके वस्त्र उनपर से उतरवा दिए थे, ताकि उनकी शर्मगाहें एक - दूसरे के सामने खोल दे । निस्सदेह वह और उसका गिरोह उस स्थान से तुम्हें देखता है, जहाँ से तुम उन्हें नहीं देखते । हमने तो शैतानों को उन लोगों का मित्र बना दिया है, जो ईमान नहीं रखते

• It is made lawful for you to go in unto your wives on the night of the fast. They are raiment for you and ye are raiment for them. Allah is Aware that ye were deceiving yourselves in this respect and He hath turned in mercy toward you and relieved you. So hold intercourse with them and seek that which Allah hath ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread becometh distinct to you from the black thread of the dawn. Then strictly observe the fast till nightfall and touch them not, but be at your devotions in the mosques. These are the limits imposed by Allah, so approach them not. Thus Allah expoundeth His revelation to mankind that they may ward off.
  तुम्हारे लिए रोज़ो की रातों में अपनी औरतों के पास जाना जायज़ हुआ । वे तुम्हारे परिधान हैं और तुम उनका परिधान हो । अल्लाह को मालूम हो गया कि तुम लोग अपने - आपसे कपट कर रहे थे, तो उसने तुमपर कृपा की और तुम्हें क्षमा कर दिया । तो अब तुम उनसे मिलो - जुलो और अल्लाह ने जो कुछ तुम्हारे लिए लिख रखा है, उसे तलब करो । और खाओ और पियो यहाँ तक कि तुम्हें उषाकाल की सफ़ेद धारी काली धारी से स्पष्टा दिखाई दे जाए । फिर रात तक रोज़ा पूरा करो और जब तुम मस्जिदों में ' एतकाफ़ ' की हालत में हो, तो तुम उनसे न मिलो । ये अल्लाह की सीमाएँ हैं । अतः इनके निकट न जाना । इस प्रकार अल्लाह अपनी आयतें लोगों के लिए खोल - खोलकर बयान करता है, ताकि वे डर रखनेवाले बनें

• Their raiment will be fine green silk and gold embroidery. Bracelets of silver will they wear. Their Lord will slake their thirst with a pure drink.
  उनके ऊपर सब्ज़ क्रेब और अतलस की पोशाक होगी और उन्हें चाँदी के कंगन पहनाए जाएँगे और उनका परवरदिगार उन्हें निहायत पाकीज़ा शराब पिलाएगा

• O children of Adam! We have sent down to you clothes to cover your nakedness, and to be pleasing to the eye ; but the raiment of righteousness is the best. That is one of the signs of God. So that people may take heed.
  ऐ आदम की सन्तान! हमने तुम्हारे लिए वस्त्र उतारा है कि तुम्हारी शर्मगाहों को छुपाए और रक्षा और शोभा का साधन हो । और धर्मपरायणता का वस्त्र - वह तो सबसे उत्तम है, यह अल्लाह की निशानियों में से है, ताकि वे ध्यान दें
