  शुएब ने कहा ऐ मेरी क़ौम अगर मै अपने परवरदिगार की तरफ से रौशन दलील पर हूँ और उसने मुझे रोज़ी खाने को दी है और मै तो ये नहीं चाहता कि जिस काम से तुम को रोकूँ तुम्हारे बर ख़िलाफ आप उसको करने लगूं मैं तो जहाँ तक मुझे बन पड़े इसलाह के सिवा चाहता ही नहीं और मेरी ताईद तो ख़ुदा के सिवा और किसी से हो ही नहीं सकती इस पर मैने भरोसा कर लिया है और उसी की तरफ रुज़ू करता हूँ

• They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency, and vie one with another in good works. These are of the righteous.

  अल्लाह तुम्हें इससे नहीं रोकता कि तुम उन लोगों के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करो और उनके साथ न्याय करो, जिन्होंने तुमसे धर्म के मामले में युद्ध नहीं किया और न तुम्हें तुम्हारे अपने घरों से निकाला । निस्संदेह अल्लाह न्याय करनेवालों को पसन्द करता है

• Then he caused them to fall by deceit ; so when they tasted of the tree, their evil inclinations became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden ; and their Lord called out to them: Did I not forbid you both from that tree and say to you that the Shaitan is your open enemy ?
  ग़रज़ धोखे से उन दोनों को उस की तरफ ले गया ग़रज़ जो ही उन दोनों ने इस दरख्त को चखा कि उन पर उनकी शर्मगाहें ज़ाहिर हो गयीं और बेहश्त के पत्ते अपने ऊपर ढापने लगे तब उनको परवरदिगार ने उनको आवाज़ दी कि क्यों मैंने तुम दोनों को इस दरख्त के पास से मना नहीं किया था और ये न जता दिया था कि शैतान तुम्हारा यक़ीनन खुला हुआ दुश्मन है

• They said:" O Saleh, we had placed our hopes in you, but you forbid us from worshipping that which our fathers worshipped, and we are suspicious of what you are calling us to."
  उन्होंने कहा," ऐ सालेह! इससे पहले तू हमारे बीच ऐसा व्यक्ति था जिससे बड़ी आशाएँ थीं । क्या तू हमें उनको पूजने से रोकता है जिनकी पूजा हमारे बाप - दादा करते रहे है ? जिनकी ओर तू हमें बुला रहा है उसके विषय में तो हमें संदेह है जो हमें दुविधा में डाले हुए है ।"

• those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of matters.
  ये वे लोग है कि यदि धरती में हम उन्हें सत्ता प्रदान करें तो वे नमाज़ का आयोजन करेंगे और ज़कात देंगे और भलाई का आदेश करेंगे और बुराई से रोकेंगे । और सब मामलों का अन्तिम परिणाम अल्लाह ही के हाथ में है
