  और जो लोग अपने माल अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता के संसाधनों की तलब में और अपने दिलों को जमाव प्रदान करने के कारण ख़र्च करते है उनकी हालत उस बाग़़ की तरह है जो किसी अच्छी और उर्वर भूमि पर हो । उस पर घोर वर्षा हुई तो उसमें दुगुने फल आए । फिर यदि घोर वर्षा उस पर नहीं हुई, तो फुहार ही पर्याप्त होगी । तुम जो कुछ भी करते हो अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है

  ख़ुदा के नज़दीक तो जैसे ईसा की हालत वैसी ही आदम की हालत कि उनको को मिट्टी का पुतला बनाकर कहा कि ' हो जा ' पस वह हो गया

• O O Ye who believe! make not your alms void by laying an obligation and by hurt, like unto him who expendeth his substance to be seen of men, and believeth not in Allah and the Last Day. The likeness of him is as the likeness of a smooth stone whereon is dust ; a heavy rain falleth upon it, and leaveth it bare. They shall not have power over aught of that which they have earned and Allah shall not guide the disbelieving people.
  ऐ ईमानदारों आपनी खैरात को एहसान जताने और ईज़ा देने की वजह से उस शख्स की तरह अकारत मत करो जो अपना माल महज़ लोगों को दिखाने के वास्ते ख़र्च करता है और ख़ुदा और रोजे आखेरत पर ईमान नहीं रखता तो उसकी खैरात की मिसाल उस चिकनी चट्टान की सी है जिसपर कुछ ख़ाक हो फिर उसपर ज़ोर शोर का मेंह बरसे और उसको चिकना चुपड़ा छोड़ जाए रियाकार अपनी उस ख़ैरात या उसके सवाब में से जो उन्होंने की है किसी चीज़ पर क़ब्ज़ा न पाएंगे और ख़ुदा काफ़िरों को हिदायत करके मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता

  ऐ ईमानवालो! अपने सदक़ो को एहसान जताकर और दुख देकर उस व्यक्ति की तरह नष्ट न करो जो लोगों को दिखाने के लिए अपना माल ख़र्च करता है और अल्लाह और अंतिम दिन पर ईमान नहीं रखता । तो उसकी हालत उस चट्टान जैसी है जिसपर कुछ मिट्टी पड़ी हुई थी, फिर उस पर ज़ोर की वर्षा हुई और उसे साफ़ चट्टान की दशा में छोड़ गई । ऐसे लोग अपनी कमाई कुछ भी प्राप्त नहीं करते । और अल्लाह इनकार की नीति अपनानेवालों को मार्ग नहीं दिखाता

• And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel,: Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah ' s leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah ' s leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.
  " और उसे इसराईल की संतान की ओर रसूल बनाकर भेजेगा । कि मैं तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की ओर से एक निशाली लेकर आया हूँ कि मैं तुम्हारे लिए मिट्टी से पक्षी के रूप जैसी आकृति बनाता हूँ, फिर उसमें फूँक मारता हूँ, तो वह अल्लाह के आदेश से उड़ने लगती है । और मैं अल्लाह के आदेश से अंधे और कोढ़ी को अच्छा कर देता हूँ और मुर्दे को जीवित कर देता हूँ । और मैं तुम्हें बता देता हूँ जो कुछ तुम खाते हो और जो कुछ अपने घरों में इकट्ठा करके रखते हो । निस्संदेह इसमें तुम्हारे लिए एक निशानी है, यदि तुम माननेवाले हो

  जिस बेहिश्त का परहेज़गारों से वायदा किया जाता है उसकी सिफत ये है कि उसमें पानी की नहरें जिनमें ज़रा बू नहीं और दूध की नहरें हैं जिनका मज़ा तक नहीं बदला और शराब की नहरें हैं जो पीने वालों के लिए लज्ज़त है और साफ़ शफ्फ़ाफ़ यहद की नहरें हैं और वहाँ उनके लिए हर किस्म के मेवे हैं और उनके परवरदिगार की तरफ से बख़्शिस है उनके बराबर हो सकते हैं जो हमेशा दोज़ख़ में रहेंगे और उनको खौलता हुआ पानी पिलाया जाएगा तो वह ऑंतों के टुकड़े टुकड़े कर डालेगा

  मोहम्मद ख़ुदा के रसूल हैं और जो लोग उनके साथ हैं काफ़िरों पर बड़े सख्त और आपस में बड़े रहम दिल हैं तू उनको देखेगा झुके सर बसजूद हैं ख़ुदा के फज़ल और उसकी ख़ुशनूदी के ख्वास्तगार हैं कसरते सुजूद के असर से उनकी पेशानियों में घट्टे पड़े हुए हैं यही औसाफ़ उनके तौरेत में भी हैं और यही हालात इंजील में हैं गोया एक खेती है जिसने अपनी सूई निकाली फिर उसी सूई को मज़बूत किया तो वह मोटी हुई फिर अपनी जड़ पर सीधी खड़ी हो गयी और अपनी ताज़गी से किसानों को ख़ुश करने लगी और इतनी जल्दी तरक्क़ी इसलिए दी ताकि उनके ज़रिए काफ़िरों का जी जलाएँ जो लोग ईमान लाए और अच्छे काम करते रहे ख़ुदा ने उनसे बख़्शिस और अज्रे अज़ीम का वायदा किया है
