  यदि कहीं दैन्य भाव का स्फुरण हुआ भी है तो यह केवल सूफीमत के प्रभाववश है ।

• And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.
  रहमान के बन्दें वहीं है जो धरती पर नम्रतापूर्वक चलते है और जब जाहिल उनके मुँह आएँ तो कह देते है," तुमको सलाम!"

• And thou shalt see them, as they are exposed to it, abject in humbleness, looking with furtive glance ; and the believers shall say, ' Surely the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection ; surely the evildoers are in lasting chastisement.
  और तुम उन्हें देखोगे कि वे उस पर इस दशा में लाए जा रहे है कि बेबसी और अपमान के कारण दबे हुए है । कनखियों से देख रहे है । जो लोग ईमान लाए, वे उस समय कहेंगे कि" निश्चय ही घाटे में पड़नेवाले वही है जिन्होंने क़ियामत के दिन अपने आपको और अपने लोगों को घाटे में डाल दिया । सावधान! निश्चय ही ज़ालिम स्थिर रहनेवाली यातना में होंगे

  और तुम उनको देखोगे कि दोज़ख़ के सामने लाए गये हैं ज़िल्लत के मारे कटे जाते हैं कनक्खियों से देखे जाते हैं और मोमिनीन कहेंगे कि हकीक़त में वही बड़े घाटे में हैं जिन्होने क़यामत के दिन अपने आप को और अपने घर वालों को ख़सारे में डाला देखो ज़ुल्म करने वाले दाएमी अज़ाब में रहेंगे

• But this humbleness is only a mask.
  किन्तु यह विनम्रता एक मुखौटा है ।

• and lower to them the wing of humbleness out of mercy and say ; ' My Lord, have mercy upon them, as they raised me up when I was little. '
  और उनके आगे दयालुता से नम्रता की भुजाएँ बिछाए रखो और कहो," मेरे रब! जिस प्रकार उन्होंने बालकाल में मुझे पाला है, तू भी उनपर दया कर ।"

• And say: ' Praise belongs to God, who has not taken to Him a son, and who has not any associate in the Kingdom, nor any protector out of humbleness. ' And magnify Him with repeated magnificats.
  और कहो कि हर तरह की तारीफ उसी ख़ुदा को है जो न तो कोई औलाद रखता है और न सल्तनत में उसका कोई साझेदार है और न उसे किसी तरह की कमज़ोरी है न कोई उसका सरपरस्त हो और उसकी बड़ाई अच्छी तरह करते रहा करो

• and lower to them the wing of humbleness out of mercy and say ; ' My Lord, have mercy upon them, as they raised me up when I was little. '
  और उनके सामने नियाज़ से ख़ाकसारी का पहलू झुकाए रखो और उनके हक़ में दुआ करो कि मेरे पालने वाले जिस तरह इन दोनों ने मेरे छोटेपन में मेरी मेरी परवरिश की है

  और उनके आगे दयालुता से नम्रता की भुजाएँ बिछाए रखो और कहो," मेरे रब! जिस प्रकार उन्होंने बालकाल में मुझे पाला है, तू भी उनपर दया कर ।"
