  और अगर ख़ुदा की तरफ से तुम्हें कोई बुराई छू भी गई तो फिर उसके सिवा कोई उसका दफा करने वाला नहीं होगा और अगर तुम्हारे साथ भलाई का इरादा करे तो फिर उसके फज़ल व करम का लपेटने वाला भी कोई नहीं वह अपने बन्दों में से जिसको चाहे फायदा पहुँचाएँ और वह बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

• And not equal are the good deed and the bad. repel by that which is better ; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity as though he was a devoted friend.
  भलाई और बुराई समान नहीं है । तुम अच्छे से अच्छे आचरण के द्वारा दूर करो । फिर क्या देखोगे कि वही व्यक्ति तुम्हारे और जिसके बीच वैर पड़ा हुआ था, जैसे वह कोई घनिष्ठ मित्र है

• Those who disbelieve spend their wealth to repel from God’s path. They will spend it, then it will become a source of sorrow for them, and then they will be defeated. Those who disbelieve will be herded into Hell.
  इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ये कुफ्फार अपने माल महज़ इस वास्ते खर्च करेगें फिर उसके बाद उनकी हसरत का बाइस होगा फिर आख़िर ये लोग हार जाएँगें और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तियार किया सब के सब जहन्नुम की तरफ हाके जाएँगें

• and that He might know the hypocrites ' When it was said to them: ' Come, fight or repel in the way of Allah ' They replied: ' If only we knew how to fight, we would follow you ' On that day, they were nearer to disbelief than belief. They said with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah knows what they hide.
  और मुनाफ़िक़ों को देख ले और मुनाफ़िक़ों से कहा गया कि आओ ख़ुदा की राह में जेहाद करो या हटा दो तो कहने लगे अगर हम लड़ना जानते तो ज़रूर तुम्हारा साथ देते ये लोग उस दिन बनिस्बते ईमान के कुफ़्र के ज्यादा क़रीब थे अपने मुंह से वह बातें कह देते हैं जो उनके दिल में नहीं होतीं और जिसे वह छिपाते हैं ख़ुदा उसे ख़ूब जानता है

• And do not repel those who call upon their Lord in the morning and evening, seeking His pleasure ; you are not responsible for their account nor are they responsible for your account – then your repelling them would be far from justice.
  और जो लोग अपने रब को उसकी ख़ुशी की चाह में प्रातः और सायंकाल पुकारते रहते है, ऐसे लोगों को दूर न करना । उनके हिसाब की तुमपर कुछ भी ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं है और न तुम्हारे हिसाब की उनपर कोई ज़िम्मेदारी है कि तुम उन्हें दूर करो और फिर हो जाओ अत्याचारियों में से

• those who were unjustly expelled from their homes for no other reason than their saying:" Allah is Our Lord." If Allah were not to repel some through others, monasteries and churches and synagogues and mosques wherein the name of Allah is much mentioned, would certainly have been pulled down. Allah will most certainly help those who will help Him. Verily Allah is Immensely Strong, Overwhelmingly Mighty.
  ये वह सिर्फ इतनी बात कहने पर कि हमारा परवरदिगार खुदा है अपने - अपने घरों से निकाल दिए गये और अगर खुदा लोगों को एक दूसरे से दूर दफा न करता रहता तो गिरजे और यहूदियों के इबादत ख़ाने और मजूस के इबादतख़ाने और मस्जिद जिनमें कसरत से खुदा का नाम लिया जाता है कब के कब ढहा दिए गए होते और जो शख्स खुदा की मदद करेगा खुदा भी अलबत्ता उसकी मदद ज़रूर करेगा बेशक खुदा ज़रूर ज़बरदस्त ग़ालिब है

• Verily Allah will repel from those who believe: verily Allah loveth not any treacherous, ingrate.
  और नेकी करने वालों को ख़ुशख़बरी दे दो इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा ईमानवालों से कुफ्फ़ार को दूर दफा करता रहता है खुदा किसी बददयानत नाशुक्रे को हरगिज़ दोस्त नहीं रखता

• Such people as these will receive a double reward, because they are steadfast and repel evil with good, and give alms out of what We have given them,
