• Have they not travelled about in the land so that they may behold of what wise hath been the end of those who were before them ? They were mightier than these in strength and in the traces in the land. Yet Allah laid hold of them for their sins, and from Allah they had none as protector.
  क्या वे धरती में चले - फिरे नहीं कि देखते कि उन लोगों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ, जो उनसे पहले गुज़र चुके है ? वे शक्ति और धरती में अपने चिन्हों की दृष्टि \ से उनसे कहीं बढ़ - चढ़कर थे, फिर उनके गुनाहों के कारण अल्लाह ने उन्हें पकड़ लिया । और अल्लाह से उन्हें बचानेवाला कोई न हुआ

• Thus We have revealed it as a commandment in Arabic. If you followed their desires after all the knowledge which has come to you, you would have no protector or shield against God.
  और यूँ हमने उस क़ुरान को अरबी का फरमान नाज़िल फरमाया और अगर कहीं तुमने इसके बाद को तुम्हारे पास इल्म आ चुका उन की नफसियानी ख्वाहिशों की पैरवी कर ली तो फिर ख़ुदा की तरफ से न कोई तुम्हारा सरपरस्त होगा न कोई बचाने वाला

• And you will not cause failure upon the earth. And you have not besides Allah any protector or helper.
  और तुम लोग ज़मीन में तो ख़ुदा को किसी तरह हरा नहीं सकते और ख़ुदा के सिवा तुम्हारा न कोई दोस्त है और न मददगार

• He is guided whom God guides. As for him He allows to go astray, you will not find a protector other than Him. We shall raise them on the Day of Resurrection in their own image, blind and dumb and deaf: Their habitation will be Hell. Every time subsides We will intensify its flame.
  और ख़ुदा जिसकी हिदायत करे वही हिदायत याफता है और जिसको गुमराही में छोड़ दे तो फिर उसके सिवा किसी को उसका सरपरस्त न पाआगे और क़यामत के दिन हम उन लोगों का मुँह के बल औंधे और गूँगें और बहरे क़ब्रों से उठाएँगें उनका ठिकाना जहन्नुम है कि जब कभी बुझने को होगी तो हम उन लोगों पर और भड़का देंगे

• But if they turn away - then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper.
  और अगर सरताबी करें तो समझ लो कि ख़ुदा यक़ीनी तुम्हारा मालिक है और वह क्या अच्छा मालिक है और क्या अच्छा मददगार है

• and struggle for God as is His due, for He has chosen you, and has laid on you no impediment in your religion, being the creed of your father Abraham ; He named you Muslims aforetime and in this, that the Messenger might be a witness against you, and that you might be witnesses against mankind. So perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and hold you fast to God ; He is your protector - - an excellent protector, an excellent Helper.
  और परस्पर मिलकर जिहाद करो अल्लाह के मार्ग में, जैसा कि जिहाद का हक़ है । उसने तुम्हें चुन लिया है - और धर्म के मामले में तुमपर कोई तंगी और कठिनाई नहीं रखी । तुम्हारे बाप इबराहीम के पंथ को तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द किया । उसने इससे पहले तुम्हारा नाम मुस्लिम रखा था और इस ध्येय से - ताकि रसूल तुमपर गवाह हो और तुम लोगों पर गवाह हो । अतः नमाज़ का आयोजन करो और ज़कात दो और अल्लाह को मज़बूती से पकड़े रहो । वही तुम्हारा संरक्षक है । तो क्या ही अच्छा संरक्षक है और क्या ही अच्छा सहायक!

• I was anxious to find my protector.
  मैं अपने रक्षक को ढुँढने के लिए बेचैन था ।

• Strive in the cause of Allah in a manner worthy of that striving. He has chosen you, and He has not laid upon you any hardship in religion. Keep to the faith of your father Abraham. Allah named you Muslims earlier and even in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and that you may be witnesses over all mankind. So establish Prayer, and pay Zakah, and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector. What an excellent protector ; what an excellent Helper!
  और परस्पर मिलकर जिहाद करो अल्लाह के मार्ग में, जैसा कि जिहाद का हक़ है । उसने तुम्हें चुन लिया है - और धर्म के मामले में तुमपर कोई तंगी और कठिनाई नहीं रखी । तुम्हारे बाप इबराहीम के पंथ को तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द किया । उसने इससे पहले तुम्हारा नाम मुस्लिम रखा था और इस ध्येय से - ताकि रसूल तुमपर गवाह हो और तुम लोगों पर गवाह हो । अतः नमाज़ का आयोजन करो और ज़कात दो और अल्लाह को मज़बूती से पकड़े रहो । वही तुम्हारा संरक्षक है । तो क्या ही अच्छा संरक्षक है और क्या ही अच्छा सहायक!

• And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment. When the tremor shook them, he said, “ My Lord, had You willed, You could have destroyed them before, and me too. Will you destroy us for what the fools among us have done ? This is but Your test—with it You misguide whomever You will, and guide whomever You will. You are our protector, so forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are the Best of Forgivers. ”
  मूसा ने अपनी क़ौम के सत्तर आदमियों को हमारे नियत किए हुए समय के लिए चुना । फिर जब उन लोगों को एक भूकम्प ने आ पकड़ा तो उसने कहा," मेर रब! यदि तू चाहता तो पहले ही इनको और मुझको विनष्ट़ कर देता । जो कुछ हमारे नादानों ने किया है, क्या उसके कारण तू हमें विनष्ट करेगा ? यह तो बस तेरी ओर से एक परीक्षा है । इसके द्वारा तू जिसको चाहे पथभ्रष्ट कर दे और जिसे चाहे मार्ग दिखा दे । तू ही हमारा संरक्षक है । अतः तू हमें क्षमा कर दे और हम पर दया कर, और तू ही सबसे बढ़कर क्षमा करनेवाला है

• The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive,
  जिस दिन कोई दोस्त किसी दोस्त के कुछ काम न आएगा और न उन की मदद की जाएगी
