  किन्तु वह व्यक्ति जिसने अपने माँ - बाप से कहा," धिक है तुम पर! क्या तुम मुझे डराते हो कि मैं निकाला जाऊँगा, हालाँकि मुझसे पहले कितनी ही नस्लें गुज़र चुकी है ?" और वे दोनों अल्लाह से फ़रियाद करते है -" अफ़सोस है तुमपर! मान जा । निस्संदेह अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है ।" किन्तु वह कहता है," ये तो बस पहले के लोगों की कहानियाँ है ।"

• And Nooh prayed to his Lord – submitted he, “ My Lord! Indeed my son is also of my family, and surely Your promise is true and You are the Greatest Ruler of all. ”
  और हो रहा था तो नूह ने अपने परवरदिगार को पुकारा और अर्ज़ की ऐ मेरे परवरदिगार इसमें तो शक़ नहीं कि मेरा बेटा मेरे अहल में शामिल है और तूने वायदा किया था कि तेरे अहल को बचा लूँगा और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि तेरा वायदा सच्चा है और तू सारे के हाकिमों से बड़ा हाकिम है

• But no sooner was the punishment withdrawn for a time to enable them to make good their promise than they broke it.
  फिर जब हम उनसे उस वक्त क़े वास्ते जिस तक वह ज़रूर पहुँचते अज़ाब को हटा लेते तो फिर फौरन बद अहदी करने लगते

• And We said to the Children of Israel after him, ' Dwell in the land ; and when the promise of the world to come comes to pass, We shall bring you a rabble. '
  और हमने उसके बाद इसराईल की सन्तान से कहा," तुम इस भूभाग में बसो । फिर जब आख़िरत का वादा आ पूरा होगा, तो हम तुम सबको इकट्ठा ला उपस्थित करेंगे ।"

• They will say: “ All thanks and praise be to Allah Who has made His promise to us come true, and Who gave us the earth to inherit. We may now dwell in Paradise wherever we please. ” How excellent is the reward of those who laboured!
  और वे कहेंगे," प्रशंसा अल्लाह के लिए, जिसने हमारे साथ अपना वादा सच कर दिखाया, और हमें इस भूमि का वारिस बनाया कि हम जन्नत में जहाँ चाहें वहाँ रहें - बसे ।" अतः क्या ही अच्छा प्रतिदान है कर्म करनेवालों का! -

• They must be able to promise a good future to the students and make sure that they fulfill all of their promises.
  उन्हें विद्यार्थियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य का वायदा करना होगा और यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि वे अपने सभी वायदे पूरा करें ।

• They shall abide in them forever. This is Allah ' s promise that shall come true. He is the Most Powerful, the Most Wise.
  जिनमें वे सदैव रहेंगे । यह अल्लाह का सच्चा वादा है और वह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है

• And Satan says, when the issue is decided, ' God surely promised you a true promise ; and I promised you, then I failed you, for I had no authority over you, but that I called you, and you answered me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves ; I cannot aid you, neither can you aid me. I disbelieved in your associating me with God aforetime. ' As for the evildoers, for them awaits a painful chastisement ;
  और जब ख़ैर फैसला हो चुकेगा तो शैतान कहेगा कि ख़ुदा ने तुम से सच्चा वायदा किया था और मैने भी वायदा तो किया था फिर मैने वायदा ख़िलाफ़ी की और मुझे कुछ तुम पर हुकूमत तो थी नहीं मगर इतनी बात थी कि मैने तुम को बुलाया और तुमने मेरा कहा मान लिया तो अब तुम मुझे बुंरा न कहो बल्कि अपने नफ्स को बुरा कहो न तो मैं तुम्हारी फरियाद को पहुँचा सकता हूँ और न तुम मेरी फरियाद कर सकते हो मै तो उससे पहले ही बेज़ार हूँ कि तुमने मुझे शरीक बनाया बेशक जो लोग नाफरमान हैं उनके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है

• Even if there were a Quran by which mountains could be set in motion, by which the earth could be rent asunder, or by which the dead could be made to speak. Surely all things are subject to God ' s will. Are the faithful unaware that, had He pleased, God could have guided all mankind ? Calamity shall not cease to strike those who deny the truth because of their misdeeds or to strike near their homes, until God ' s promise be fulfilled. God will not fail to keep His promise.
  और यदि कोई ऐसा क़ुरआन होता जिसके द्वारा पहाड़ चलने लगते या उससे धरती खंड - खंड हो जाती या उसके द्वारा मुर्दे बोलने लगते । नहीं, बल्कि बात यह है कि सारे काम अल्लाह ही के अधिकार में है । फिर क्या जो लोग ईमान लाए है वे यह जानकर निराश नहीं हुए कि यदि अल्लाह चाहता तो सारे ही मनुष्यों को सीधे मार्ग पर लगा देता ? और इनकार करनेवालों पर तो उनकी करतूतों के बदले में कोई न कोई आपदा निरंतर आती ही रहेगी, या उनके घर के निकट ही कहीं उतरती रहेगी, यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह का वादा आ पूरा होगा । निस्संदेह अल्लाह अपने वादे के विरुद्ध नहीं जाता ।"
