  ऐ रसूल क़िबला बदलने के वास्ते बेशक तुम्हारा बार बार आसमान की तरफ मुँह करना हम देख रहे हैं तो हम ज़रुर तुम को ऐसे क़िबले की तरफ फेर देगें कि तुम निहाल हो जाओ अच्छा तो नमाज़ ही में तुम मस्ज़िदे मोहतरम काबे की तरफ मुँह कर लो और ऐ मुसलमानों तुम जहाँ कही भी हो उसी की तरफ़ अपना मुँह कर लिया करो और जिन लोगों को किताब तौरेत वगैरह दी गयी है वह बख़ूबी जानते हैं कि ये तबदील क़िबले बहुत बजा व दुरुस्त है और उस के परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से है और जो कुछ वह लोग करते हैं उस से ख़ुदा बेख़बर नही

• That is because your Lord will not destroy villages unjustly, while their inhabitants were inattentive.
  बेशक ये सब के सब काफिर थे और ये उस वजह से है कि तुम्हारा परवरदिगार कभी बस्तियों को ज़ुल्म ज़बरदस्ती से वहाँ के बाशिन्दों के ग़फलत की हालत में हलाक नहीं किया करता

  और जहाँ से भी तुम निकलों, ' मस्जिदे हराम ' की ओर अपना मुँह फेर लिया करो । निस्संदेह यही तुम्हारे रब की ओर से हक़ है । जो कुछ तुम करते हो, अल्लाह उससे बेख़बर नहीं है

  हम आकाश में तुम्हारे मुँह की गर्दिश देख रहे है, तो हम अवश्य ही तुम्हें उसी क़िबले का अधिकारी बना देंगे जिसे तुम पसन्द करते हो । अतः मस्जिदे हराम की ओर अपना रूख़ करो । और जहाँ कहीं भी हो अपने मुँह उसी की ओर करो - निश्चय ही जिन लोगों को किताब मिली थी, वे भली - भाँति जानते है कि वही उनके रब की ओर से हक़ है, इसके बावजूद जो कुछ वे कर रहे है अल्लाह उससे बेखबर नहीं है

  सभी के दर्जें उनके कर्मों के अनुसार है । और जो कुछ वे करते है, उससे तुम्हारा रब अनभिज्ञ नहीं है

  कहो," ऐ किताबवालो! तुम ईमान लानेवालों को अल्लाह के मार्ग से क्यो रोकते हो, तुम्हें उसमें किसी टेढ़ की तलाश रहती है, जबकि तुम भली - भाँति वास्तविकता से अवगत हो और जो कुछ तुम कर रहे हो, अल्लाह उससे बेख़बर नहीं है ।"

• Yet after that your hearts became as hard as rock or even harder. Indeed among the stones are those from which rivers burst. And others split so that water issues from them ; and others crash down through fear of Allah. Allah is not inattentive of what you do.
  फिर इसके पश्चात भी तुम्हारे दिल कठोर हो गए, तो वे पत्थरों की तरह हो गए बल्कि उनसे भी अधिक कठोर ; क्योंकि कुछ पत्थर ऐसे भी होते है जिनसे नहरें फूट निकलती है, और कुछ ऐसे भी होते है कि फट जाते है तो उनमें से पानी निकलने लगता है, और उनमें से कुछ ऐसे भी होते है जो अल्लाह के भय से गिर जाते है । और अल्लाह, जो कुछ तुम कर रहे हो, उससे बेखबर नहीं है
