  ऐ नबी! जब तुम लोग स्त्रियों को तलाक़ दो तो उन्हें तलाक़ उनकी इद्दत के हिसाब से दो । और इद्दत की गणना करो और अल्लाह का डर रखो, जो तुम्हारा रब है । उन्हें उनके घरों से न निकालो और न वे स्वयं निकलें, सिवाय इसके कि वे कोई स्पष्ट । अशोभनीय कर्म कर बैठें । ये अल्लाह की नियत की हुई सीमाएँ है - और जो अल्लाह की सीमाओं का उल्लंघन करे तो उसने स्वयं अपने आप पर ज़ुल्म किया - तुम नहीं जानते, कदाचित इस के पश्चात अल्लाह कोई सूरत पैदा कर दे

• And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and do not persist in what they have done while they know.
  और लोग इत्तिफ़ाक़ से कोई बदकारी कर बैठते हैं या आप अपने ऊपर जुल्म करते हैं तो ख़ुदा को याद करते हैं और अपने गुनाहों की माफ़ी मॉगते हैं और ख़ुदा के सिवा गुनाहों का बख्शने वाला और कौन है और जो वह कर बैठे तो जानबूझ कर उसपर हट नहीं करते

• O Prophet, when you divorce women, divorce them for their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allah, your Lord. Do not turn them out of their houses, nor should they leave unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits Allah. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. You know not ; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a matter.
  ऐ नबी! जब तुम लोग स्त्रियों को तलाक़ दो तो उन्हें तलाक़ उनकी इद्दत के हिसाब से दो । और इद्दत की गणना करो और अल्लाह का डर रखो, जो तुम्हारा रब है । उन्हें उनके घरों से न निकालो और न वे स्वयं निकलें, सिवाय इसके कि वे कोई स्पष्ट । अशोभनीय कर्म कर बैठें । ये अल्लाह की नियत की हुई सीमाएँ है - और जो अल्लाह की सीमाओं का उल्लंघन करे तो उसने स्वयं अपने आप पर ज़ुल्म किया - तुम नहीं जानते, कदाचित इस के पश्चात अल्लाह कोई सूरत पैदा कर दे

• And do not marry those whom your fathers married, except what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful and was evil as a way.
  और उन स्त्रियों से विवाह न करो, जिनसे तुम्हारे बाप विवाह कर चुके हों, परन्तु जो पहले हो चुका सो हो चुका । निस्संदेह यह एक अश्लील और अत्यन्त अप्रिय कर्म है, और बुरी रीति है

• O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.
  ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों तुममें से जो कोई किसी सरीही ना शाइस्ता हरकत की का मुरतिब हुई तो उसका अज़ाब भी दुगना बढ़ा दिया जाएगा और खुदा के वास्ते आसान है

  ऐ रसूल जब तुम अपनी बीवियों को तलाक़ दो तो उनकी इद्दत के वक्त तलाक़ दो और इद्दा का शुमार रखो और अपने परवरदिगार ख़ुदा से डरो और उनके घर से उन्हें न निकालो और वह ख़ुद भी घर से न निकलें मगर जब वह कोई सरीही बेहयाई का काम कर बैठें और ये ख़ुदा की हदें हैं और जो ख़ुदा की हदों से तजाउज़ करेगा तो उसने अपने ऊपर आप ज़ुल्म किया तो तू नहीं जानता यायद ख़ुदा उसके बाद कोई बात पैदा करे
