  शुएब ने कहा मै चाहता हूँ कि अपनी दोनों लड़कियों में से एक के साथ तुम्हारा इस पर निकाह कर दूँ कि तुम आठ बरस तक मेरी नौकरी करो और अगर तुम दस बरस पूरे कर दो तो तुम्हारा एहसान और मै तुम पर मेहनत मशक्क़त भी डालना नही चाहता और तुम मुझे इन्शा अल्लाह नेको कार आदमी पाओगे

• And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning is thirty months. until, when he reaches maturity and reaches forty years, he says," My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
  और हमने इन्सान को अपने माँ बाप के साथ भलाई करने का हुक्म दिया उसकी माँ ने रंज ही की हालत में उसको पेट में रखा और रंज ही से उसको जना और उसका पेट में रहना और उसको दूध बढ़ाई के तीस महीने हुए यहाँ तक कि जब अपनी पूरी जवानी को पहुँचता और चालीस बरस को पहुँचता है तो अर्ज़ करता है परवरदिगार तो मुझे तौफ़ीक़ अता फरमा कि तूने जो एहसानात मुझ पर और मेरे वालदैन पर किये हैं मैं उन एहसानों का शुक्रिया अदा करूँ और ये कि मैं ऐसा नेक काम करूँ जिसे तू पसन्द करे और मेरे लिए मेरी औलाद में सुलाह व तक़वा पैदा करे तेरी तरफ रूजू करता हूँ और मैं यक़ीनन फरमाबरदारो में हूँ

• let the man of means spend in accordance with his means ; and let him whose resources are restricted, spend in accordance with what God has given him. God does not burden any person with more than He has given him. God will soon bring about ease after hardship.
  चाहिए कि समाई वाला अपनी समाई के अनुसार ख़र्च करे और जिसे उसकी रोज़ी नपी - तुली मिली हो तो उसे चाहिए कि अल्लाह ने उसे जो कुछ भी दिया है उसी में से वह ख़र्च करे । जितना कुछ दिया है उससे बढ़कर अल्लाह किसी व्यक्ति पर ज़िम्मेदारी का बोझ नहीं डालता । जल्द ही अल्लाह कठिनाई के बाद आसानी पैदा कर देगा

God knows who is corrupt or a reformer. Had God wanted He would have brought upon you hardship. God is Majestic and All - wise.
  और वे तुमसे अनाथों के विषय में पूछते है । कहो," उनके सुधार की जो रीति अपनाई जाए अच्छी है । और यदि तुम उन्हें अपने साथ सम्मिलित कर लो तो वे तुम्हारे भाई - बन्धु ही हैं । और अल्लाह बिगाड़ पैदा करनेवाले को बचाव पैदा करनेवाले से अलग पहचानता है । और यदि अल्लाह चाहता तो तुमको ज़हमत में डाल देता । निस्संदेह अल्लाह प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है ।"

• When people are granted mercy after having suffered hardship, they begin to plot against Our revelations. Say," God is the most swift in His plans." Our angelic messengers record all that you plot.
  और लोगों को जो तकलीफ पहुँची उसके बाद जब हमने अपनी रहमत का जाएक़ा चखा दिया तो यकायक उन लोगों से हमारी आयतों में हीले बाज़ी शुरू कर दी तुम कह दो कि तद्बीर में ख़ुदा सब से ज्यादा तेज़ है तुम जो कुछ मक्कारी करते हो वह हमारे भेजे हुए लिखते जाते हैं

• It is He who has granted us, through His favor, an everlasting dwelling wherein we shall experience no hardship nor any fatigue."
  जिसने हमको अपने फज़ल से हमेशगी के घर में उतारा जहाँ हमें कोई तकलीफ छुयेगी भी तो नहीं और न कोई थकान ही पहुँचेगी

  उसने कहा," मैं चाहता हूँ कि अपनी इन दोनों बेटियों में से एक का विवाह तुम्हारे साथ इस शर्त पर कर दूँ कि तुम आठ वर्ष तक मेरे यहाँ नौकरी करो । और यदि तुम दस वर्ष पूरे कर दो, तो यह तुम्हारी ओर से होगा । मैं तुम्हें कठिनाई में डालना नहीं चाहता । यदि अल्लाह ने चाहा तो तुम मुझे नेक पाओगे ।"

• Refuge means to give shelter in danger or hardship.
  शरण का अर्थ होता है, खतरे या विपत्ति में आश्रय देना ।

• This does not mean that we do not have pockets of poverty and hardship.
  इसका यह अर्थ नहीं कि कुछ स्थान ऐसे नहीं हैं जहां गरीबी या कष्ट का जीवन देखने को मिलता है ।
