• And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah ; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up ; and when they are on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.
  और कुरबानी ऊँट भी हमने तुम्हारे वास्ते खुदा की निशानियों में से क़रार दिया है इसमें तुम्हारी बहुत सी भलाईयाँ हैं फिर उनका तांते का तांता बाँध कर ज़िबाह करो और उस वक्त उन पर खुदा का नाम लो फिर जब उनके दस्त व बाजू काटकर गिर पड़े तो उन्हीं से तुम खुद भी खाओ और केनाअत पेशा फक़ीरों और माँगने वाले मोहताजों को भी खिलाओ हमने यूँ इन जानवरों को तुम्हारा ताबेए कर दिया ताकि तुम शुक्रगुज़ार बनो

• Indeed for Saba was a sign in their dwelling - place – two gardens on the right and the left ; “ Eat the sustenance provided by your Lord and be grateful to Him” ; a pure land and an Oft Forgiving Lord!

• Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find - then a fast of three days. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful.
  ख़ुदा तुम्हारे बेकार क़समों पर तो ख़ैर गिरफ्तार न करेगा मगर बाक़सद पक्की क़सम खाने और उसके ख़िलाफ करने पर तो ज़रुर तुम्हारी ले दे करेगा उसका जुर्माना जैसा तुम ख़ुद अपने एहलोअयाल को खिलाते हो उसी क़िस्म का औसत दर्जे का दस मोहताजों को खाना खिलाना या उनको कपड़े पहनाना या एक गुलाम आज़ाद करना है फिर जिससे यह सब न हो सके तो मैं तीन दिन के रोज़े ये तुम्हारी क़समों का जुर्माना है जब तुम क़सम खाओ और अपनी क़समों का ख्याल रखो ख़ुदा अपने एहकाम को तुम्हारे वास्ते यूँ साफ़ साफ़ बयान करता है ताकि तुम शुक्र करो

• And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning is thirty months. until, when he reaches maturity and reaches forty years, he says," My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
  और हमने इन्सान को अपने माँ बाप के साथ भलाई करने का हुक्म दिया उसकी माँ ने रंज ही की हालत में उसको पेट में रखा और रंज ही से उसको जना और उसका पेट में रहना और उसको दूध बढ़ाई के तीस महीने हुए यहाँ तक कि जब अपनी पूरी जवानी को पहुँचता और चालीस बरस को पहुँचता है तो अर्ज़ करता है परवरदिगार तो मुझे तौफ़ीक़ अता फरमा कि तूने जो एहसानात मुझ पर और मेरे वालदैन पर किये हैं मैं उन एहसानों का शुक्रिया अदा करूँ और ये कि मैं ऐसा नेक काम करूँ जिसे तू पसन्द करे और मेरे लिए मेरी औलाद में सुलाह व तक़वा पैदा करे तेरी तरफ रूजू करता हूँ और मैं यक़ीनन फरमाबरदारो में हूँ

• Then We pardoned you after that, so that you might be grateful.
  फिर इसके पश्चात भी हमने तुम्हें क्षमा किया, ताकि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखालाओ

• That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives ; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein ; surely Allah is Forgiving, grateful.
  यही है जिसकी ख़ुदा अपने उन बन्दों को ख़ुशख़बरी देता है जो ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे तुम कह दो कि मैं इस का अपने क़रातबदारों की मोहब्बत के सिवा तुमसे कोई सिला नहीं मांगता और जो शख़्श नेकी हासिल करेगा हम उसके लिए उसकी ख़ूबी में इज़ाफा कर देंगे बेशक वह बड़ा बख्शने वाला क़दरदान है

• And remember when you were few and were reckoned weak in the land, and were afraid that men might kidnap you, but He provided a safe place for you, strengthened you with His Help, and provided you with good things so that you might be grateful.
  जब तुम सर ज़मीन में बहुत कम और बिल्कुल बेबस थे उससे सहमे जाते थे कि कहीं लोग तुमको उचक न ले जाए तो ख़ुदा ने तुमको पनाह दी और ख़ास अपनी मदद से तुम्हारी ताईद की और तुम्हे पाक व पाकीज़ा चीज़े खाने को दी ताकि तुम शुक्र गुज़ारी करो
