  और अच्छी भूमि के पेड़ - पौधे उसके रब के आदेश से निकलते है और जो भूमि ख़राब हो गई है तो उससे निकम्मी पैदावार के अतिरिक्त कुछ नहीं निकलता । इसी प्रकार हम निशानियों को उन लोगों के लिए तरह - तरह से बयान करते है, जो कृतज्ञता दिखानेवाले है

  उनसे पूछो कि तुम ख़ुश्की और तरी के ऍधेरों से कौन छुटकारा देता है जिससे तुम गिड़ गिड़ाकर और दुआएं मॉगते हो कि अगर वह हमें उस से छुटकारा दे तो हम ज़रुर उसके शुक्र गुज़ार रहेगें

  महीना रमज़ान है जिस में क़ुरान नाज़िल किया गया जो लोगों का रहनुमा है और उसमें रहनुमाई और तमीज़ की रौशन निशानियाँ हैं तुम में से जो शख्स इस महीनें में अपनी जगह पर हो तो उसको चाहिए कि रोज़ा रखे और जो शख्स बीमार हो या फिर सफ़र में हो तो और दिनों में रोज़े की गिनती पूरी करे ख़ुदा तुम्हारे साथ आसानी करना चाहता है और तुम्हारे साथ सख्ती करनी नहीं चाहता और ताकि तुम गिनती पूरी करो और ताकि ख़ुदा ने जो तुम को राह पर लगा दिया है उस नेअमत पर उस की बड़ाई करो और ताकि तुम शुक्र गुज़ार बनो

  ग़रज़ सुलेमान को जो बनवाना मंज़ूर होता ये जिन्नात उनके लिए बनाते थे मस्जिदें, महल, क़िले और तस्वीरें और हौज़ों के बराबर प्याले और गड़ी हुई देग़ें ऐ दाऊद की औलाद शुक्र करते रहो और मेरे बन्दों में से शुक्र करने वाले थोड़े से हैं

  " फिर उनके आगे और उनके पीछे और उनके दाएँ और उनके बाएँ से उनके पास आऊँगा । और तू उनमें अधिकतर को कृतज्ञ न पाएगा ।"

  वह ख़ुदा ही तो है जिसने तुमको एक शख़्श से पैदा किया और उसकी बची हुई मिट्टी से उसका जोड़ा भी बना डाला ताकि उसके साथ रहे सहे फिर जब इन्सान अपनी बीबी से हम बिस्तरी करता है तो बीबी एक हलके से हमल से हमला हो जाती है फिर उसे लिए चलती फिरती है फिर जब वह अपने परवरदिगार ख़ुदा से दुआ करने लगे कि अगर तो हमें नेक फरज़न्द अता फरमा तो हम ज़रूर तेरे शुक्रगुज़ार होगें

  वही है जो तुम्हें थल और जल में चलाता है, यहाँ तक कि जब तुम नौका में होते हो और वह लोगो को लिए हुए अच्छी अनुकूल वायु के सहारे चलती है और वे उससे हर्षित होते है कि अकस्मात उनपर प्रचंड वायु का झोंका आता है, हर ओर से लहरें उनपर चली आती है और वे समझ लेते है कि बस अब वे घिर गए, उस समय वे अल्लाह ही को, निरी उसी पर आस्था रखकर पुकारने लगते है," यदि तूने हमें इससे बचा लिया तो हम अवश्य आभारी होंगे ।"
