• And a bearer of burthen will not bear another ' s burthen, and if one heavy - laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself ; and Unto Allah is the return.
  कोई बोझ उठानेवाला किसी दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा । और यदि कोई कोई से दबा हुआ व्यक्ति अपना बोझ उठाने के लिए पुकारे तो उसमें से कुछ भी न उठाया, यद्यपि वह निकट का सम्बन्धी ही क्यों न हो । तुम तो केवल सावधान कर रहे हो । जो परोक्ष में रहते हुए अपने रब से डरते हैं और नमाज़ के पाबन्द हो चुके है । और जिसने स्वयं को विकसित किया वह अपने ही भले के लिए अपने आपको विकसित करेगा । और पलटकर जाना तो अल्लाह ही की ओर है

• And those who believed and worked righteous works - We burthen not a soul except according to its capacity, they shall be fellows of the Garden ; therein they shell be abiders.
  इसके विपरित जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए - हम किसी पर उसकी सामर्थ्य से बढ़कर बोझ नहीं डालते - वही लोग जन्नतवाले है । वे उसमें सदैव रहेंगे

  यदि तुम इनकार करोगे तो अल्लाह तुमसे निस्पृह है । यद्यपि वह अपने बन्दों के लिए इनकार को पसन्द नहीं करता, किन्तु यदि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखाओगे, तो उसे वह तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द करता है । कोई बोझ न उठाएगा । फिर तुम्हारी वापसी अपने रब ही की ओर है । और वह तुम्हे बता देगा, जो कुछ तुम करते रहे होगे । निश्चय ही वह सीनों तक की बातें जानता है

• The Day whereon ye behold it, every suckling woman shall forget that which she suckleth, and every burthened woman shall lay down her burthen ; and thou shalt behold mankind as drunken, whereas drunken they will be not, but the torment of Allah shall be severe.
  जिस दिन तुम उसे देख लोगे तो हर दूध पिलाने वाली अपने दूध पीते को भूल जायेगी और सारी हामला औरते अपने - अपने हमल गिरा देगी और लोग तुझे मतवाले मालूम होंगे हालाँकि वह मतवाले नहीं हैं बल्कि खुदा का अज़ाब बहुत सख्त है कि लोग बदहवास हो रहे हैं

• Lodge them wheresoever ye lodge yourselves ; according to your means ; and hurt them not so as to straiten them. And if they are with burthen, expend on them until they lay down their burthen. Then, if they suckle their children for you, give them their hire, and take counsel together reputably. And if ye make hardship for one another, then another woman will suckle for him.
  मुतलक़ा औरतों को अपने मक़दूर मुताबिक दे रखो जहाँ तुम ख़ुद रहते हो और उनको तंग करने के लिए उनको तकलीफ न पहुँचाओ और अगर वह हामेला हो तो बच्चा जनने तक उनका खर्च देते रहो फिर अगर वह बच्चे को तुम्हारी ख़ातिर दूध पिलाए तो उन्हें उनकी उजरत दे दो और बाहम सलाहियत से दस्तूर के मुताबिक बात चीत करो और अगर तुम बाहम कश म कश करो तो बच्चे को उसके ख़ातिर से कोई और औरत दूध पिला देगी

  जिस किसी ने उससे मुँह मोड़ा, वह निश्चय ही क़ियामत के दिन एक बोझ उठाएगा
