  इस तरह हमने लोगों को उनकी सूचना दे दी, ताकि वे जान लें कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और यह कि क़ियामत की घड़ी में कोई सन्देह नहीं है । वह समय भी उल्लेखनीय है जब वे आपस में उनके मामले में छीन - झपट कर रहे थे । फिर उन्होंने कहा," उनपर एक भवन बना दे । उनका रब उन्हें भली - भाँति जानता है ।" और जो लोग उनके मामले में प्रभावी रहे उन्होंने कहा," हम तो उनपर अवश्य एक उपासना गृह बनाएँगे ।"

• And thus did We make to get knowledge of them that they might know that Allah ' s promise is true and that as for the hour there is no doubt about it. When they disputed among themselves about their affair and said: Erect an edifice over them - - their Lord best knows them. Those who prevailed in their affair said: We will certainly raise a masjid over them.
  इस तरह हमने लोगों को उनकी सूचना दे दी, ताकि वे जान लें कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और यह कि क़ियामत की घड़ी में कोई सन्देह नहीं है । वह समय भी उल्लेखनीय है जब वे आपस में उनके मामले में छीन - झपट कर रहे थे । फिर उन्होंने कहा," उनपर एक भवन बना दे । उनका रब उन्हें भली - भाँति जानता है ।" और जो लोग उनके मामले में प्रभावी रहे उन्होंने कहा," हम तो उनपर अवश्य एक उपासना गृह बनाएँगे ।"

• You have no concern in the affair whether He turns to them or chastises them, for surely they are unjust.
  तुम्हें इस मामले में कोई अधिकार नहीं - चाहे वह उसकी तौबा क़बूल करे या उन्हें यातना दे, क्योंकि वे अत्याचारी है

• “ Now that you have withdrawn from them, and from what they worship besides God, take shelter in the cave. And your Lord will unfold His mercy for you, and will set your affair towards ease. ”
  जब तुमने उन लोगों से और ख़ुदा के सिवा जिन माबूदों की ये लोग परसतिश करते हैं उनसे किनारा कशी करली तो चलो ग़ार में जा बैठो और तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अपनी रहमत तुम पर वसीह कर देगा और तुम्हारा काम में तुम्हारे लिए आसानी के सामान मुहय्या करेगा

• And rehearse thou unto them the story of Nuh, when he said unto his people: O my people! if my standing forth and my admonishment with the commandments of Allah be hard upon you, then on Allah I rely ; so devise your affair, ye and your associate - gods and let not your affair be dubious unto you, then have it decreed against me, and respite me not.
  उन्हें नूह का वृत्तान्त सुनाओ । जब उसने अपनी क़ौम से कहा," ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो! यदि मेरा खड़ा होना और अल्लाह की आयतों के द्वारा नसीहत करना तुम्हें भारी हो गया है तो मेरा भरोसा अल्लाह पर है । तु अपना मामला ठहरा लो और अपने ठहराए हुए साझीदारों को भी साथ ले लो, फिर तुम्हारा मामला तुम पर कुछ संदिग्ध न रहे ; फिर मेरे साथ जो कुछ करना है, कर डालों और मुझे मुहलत न दो ।"

• But cut off their affair, one from another: will they all return to Us.
  किन्तु उन्होंने आपस में अपने मामलों को टुकड़े - टुकड़े कर डाला । - प्रत्येक को हमारी ओर पलटना है । -

• As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.
  बेशक जिन लोगों ने आपने दीन में तफरक़ा डाला और कई फरीक़ बन गए थे उनसे कुछ सरोकार नहीं उनका मामला तो सिर्फ ख़ुदा के हवाले है फिर जो कुछ वह दुनिया में नेक या बद किया करते थे वह उन्हें बता देगा
