  और सब मिलकर अल्लाह की रस्सी को मज़बूती से पकड़ लो और विभेद में न पड़ो । और अल्लाह की उस कृपा को याद करो जो तुमपर हुई । जब तुम आपस में एक - दूसरे के शत्रु थे तो उसने तुम्हारे दिलों को परस्पर जोड़ दिया और तुम उसकी कृपा से भाई - भाई बन गए । तुम आग के एक गड्ढे के किनारे खड़े थे, तो अल्लाह ने उससे तुम्हें बचा लिया । इस प्रकार अल्लाह तुम्हारे लिए अपनी आयते खोल - खोलकर बयान करता है, ताकि तुम मार्ग पा लो

• :" Eat of the good things We have given you for food, and do not exceed the bounds in this, or My wrath will surely fall upon you ; and he who incurs My wrath will fall into the abyss.
  " खाओ, जो कुछ पाक अच्छी चीज़े हमने तुम्हें प्रदान की है, किन्तु इसमें हद से आगे न बढ़ो कि तुमपर मेरा प्रकोप टूट पड़े और जिस किसी पर मेरा प्रकोप टूटा, वह तो गिरकर ही रहा

  पश्चिमी के भी ज्यादा विचारवान लोग अब यह समझने लगे हैं कि उनकी व्यवस्था उन्हें एक गहरे गर्त की ओर ले जा रही है और वे उससे भयभीत हैं ।

Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance.

• But on the top of this summit you stand facing an abyss and you cannot go further.
  पर जिस शिखर के ऊपर आप बैठे हैं उसके सामने एक अगाधगर्त है और आप इससे आगे नहीं जा सकते ।

  और तुम सब के सब ख़ुदा की रस्सी मज़बूती से थामे रहो और आपस में के फूट न डालो और अपने हाल पर ख़ुदा के एहसान को तो याद करो जब तुम आपस में दुश्मन थे तो ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारे दिलों में उलफ़त पैदा कर दी तो तुम उसके फ़ज़ल से आपस में भाई भाई हो गए और तुम गोया सुलगती हुईआग की भट्टी के लब पर थे गिरना ही चाहते थे कि ख़ुदा ने तुमको उससे बचा लिया तो ख़ुदा अपने एहकाम यूं वाजेए करके बयान करता है ताकि तुम राहे रास्त पर आ जाओ
