With Donald Trump being leader of the world’s most powerful nation and called the most powerful human at the moment, his laws on fellow immigrants seems not just quite but certainly coarse-grained and thus the very idea of “A world without borders” seems hypothetical to the maximum in present scenario. A high standard political debate shall include immigrants as one of their key topics to discuss about and “A world without borders” chiefly depends upon how several powerful countries react to immigrants. With the United States being a close ally of UK, it won’t be surprising that UK, maybe somewhere in 2019 after Brexit is successful, shall impose hard laws on immigrants. Personally speaking, a world without borders seems to be a very fine idea with free movement across the entire globe, there definitely would be a drop in the global poverty. For some developing countries like the Iran, Greece, Turkey this might accelerate the economic growth at least by a few percentage. If you're wondering how and why migration pushes the economy, it’s pretty simple to understand. Think what makes an Indian a boss in different parts of the globe. Apart from the skill oneself has, it’s the location where he grooms. At the same time let’s pick one of the most skillful and talented truck driver in India and he migrates to another country with a gross GDP lesser than that of India, say Ethiopia, no matter how skilled or talented he is, he cannot earn more than a few thousand rupees a year. But whereas, the same person doing the same job in another developed country like the United States can easily earn double or triple what he earns in India. This brings us to a very common and easy conclusion that people would generally prefer to migrate to countries which is beneficial to them which also implies the fact that the population density in a particular developed country shall increase enormously which might lead to near unemployment if workers are not skillful enough and as a result of the whole end up in spreading anti-nationalist feeling over different parts of the country.

Being the foremost reason for Britain to exit from the European Union, the very idea of immigration has its own cons on the other page of the book we’re crafting right now. With immigrants being blamed for the Paris Attack in 2015, migration of people from one country to another is not only a free move for the good-willed people but also for the terrorists who would’ve planned for an attack beforehand. A free movement shall be applicable to everyone across the globe and shall make the task easy for all those who wish for destruction and terrorism in a particular area. Another point to note is Economic Stability which affected countries like Greece which is unable to pay the big debt it owes to the European Union due to a natural calamity. While one country is at risk this also affects other countries that are dependent upon this country for exports and imports and thus we’ve observed developed countries like Spain and Italy being held at risk when Greece was in trouble. Now, EU also might face an issue after the exit of Britain by 2019 standing unknown of what to do and has to implement strict laws for all the countries in the EU already which might exit later. This also brings us towards the thought of crisis in Central Government due to strict laws that may not be favourable for all countries in the EU. The European Union has already shown us what all problems we might face if we implement a borderless globe, but still, apart from the EU and it’s problems we have much more to talk about. One such sensitive issue is the clash of culture and language, which the Muslims faced after moving to countries in the Middle East facing real racial threats.

The idea of “no borders” has already been put up in action somewhere in Europe, called the Schengen Area, which unites 26 countries abolishing passport and other types of border control to improve mutual benefits. However, this is considered to be a success as the countries didn’t face huge problems due to fellow immigrants and thus looks good from outside. Coming to what we’ve learned from the past, a world without borders seems beautiful from the outside but has got a lot of problems and is not feasible. This leads to the conclusion stating that we all deserve private space and maybe, not the entire globe but, a large part of the globe having similar economical and social status shall act with a single government and currency.
