• Upon those who accepted faith and did good deeds, there shall be no sin for whatever they have consumed in the past, provided they fear and continue to believe and do good deeds, then again fear and continue to believe, and then again fear and remain virtuous ; and Allah loves the virtuous.
  जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे काम किए हैं उन पर जो कुछ खा चुके उसमें कुछ गुनाह नहीं जब उन्होंने परहेज़गारी की और ईमान ले आए और अच्छे काम किए फिर परहेज़गारी की और नेकियाँ कीं और ख़ुदा नेकी करने वालों को दोस्त रखता है

• You will not attain virtuous conduct until you give of what you cherish. Whatever you give away, God is aware of it.
  तुम नेकी और वफ़ादारी के दर्जे को नहीं पहुँच सकते, जब तक कि उन चीज़ो को ख़र्च न करो, जो तुम्हें प्रिय है । और जो चीज़ भी तुम ख़र्च करोगे, निश्चय ही अल्लाह को उसका ज्ञान होगा

• And do not make Allah a target of your oaths, by pledging against being virtuous and pious, and against making peace among mankind ; and Allah is All Hearing, All Knowing.
  और तुम अपनी क़समों से ख़ुदा को लोगों के साथ सुलूक करने और ख़ुदा से डरने और लोगों के दरमियान सुलह करवा देने का मानेअ न ठहराव और ख़ुदा सबकी सुनता और सब को जानता है

• This day are good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.
  आज तुम्हारे लिए अच्छी स्वच्छ चीज़ें हलाल कर दी गई और जिन्हें किताब दी गई उनका भोजन भी तुम्हारे लिए हलाल है और तुम्हारा भोजन उनके लिए हलाल है और शरीफ़ और स्वतंत्र ईमानवाली स्त्रियाँ भी जो तुमसे पहले के किताबवालों में से हो, जबकि तुम उनका हक़ देकर उन्हें निकाह में लाओ । न तो यह काम स्वछन्द कामतृप्ति के लिए हो और न चोरी - छिपे याराना करने को । और जिस किसी ने ईमान से इनकार किया, उसका सारा किया - धरा अकारथ गया और वह आख़िरत में भी घाटे में रहेगा

• Marry those among you who are spouseless and the virtuous among your male and female slaves, if they are poor, Allah will enrichthem of His bounty ; Allah is Embracing, Knowing.
  और अपनी बेशौहर औरतों और अपने नेक बख्त गुलामों और लौंडियों का निकाह कर दिया करो अगर ये लोग मोहताज होंगे तो खुदा अपने फज़ल व से उन्हें मालदार बना देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ी गुन्जाइश वाला वाक़िफ कार है

• So We cursed them because of them constantly breaking their covenant, and hardened their hearts ; they shift the Words of Allah from their places, and have forgotten a large portion of the advices that were given to them ; and you will constantly learn of deceits from them, except a few ; so forgive them and excuse them ; indeed Allah loves the virtuous.
  फिर उनके बार - बार अपने वचन को भंग कर देने के कारण हमने उनपर लानत की और उनके हृदय कठोर कर दिए । वे शब्दों को उनके स्थान से फेरकर कुछ का कुछ कर देते है और जिनके द्वारा उन्हें याद दिलाया गया था, उसका एक बड़ा भाग वे भुला बैठे । और तुम्हें उनके किसी न किसी विश्वासघात का बराबर पता चलता रहेगा । उनमें ऐसा न करनेवाले थोड़े लोग है, तो तुम उन्हें क्षमा कर दो और उन्हें छोड़ो । निश्चय ही अल्लाह को वे लोग प्रिय है जो उत्तमकर्मी है

• O you who believe! Do not violate God’s sacraments, nor the Sacred Month, nor the offerings, nor the garlanded, nor those heading for the Sacred House seeking blessings from their Lord and approval. When you have left the pilgrim sanctity, you may hunt. And let not the hatred of people who barred you from the Sacred Mosque incite you to aggression. And cooperate with one another in virtuous conduct and conscience, and do not cooperate with one another in sin and hostility. And fear God. God is severe in punishment.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! अल्लाह की निशानियों का अनादर न करो ; न आदर के महीनों का, न क़ुरबानी के जानवरों का और न जानवरों का जिनका गरदनों में पट्टे पड़े हो और न उन लोगों का जो अपने रब के अनुग्रह और उसकी प्रसन्नता की चाह में प्रतिष्ठित गृह को जाते हो । और जब इहराम की दशा से बाहर हो जाओ तो शिकार करो । और ऐसा न हो कि एक गिरोह की शत्रुता, जिसने तुम्हारे लिए प्रतिष्ठित घर का रास्ता बन्द कर दिया था, तुम्हें इस बात पर उभार दे कि तुम ज़्यादती करने लगो । हक़ अदा करने और ईश - भय के काम में तुम एक - दूसरे का सहयोग करो और हक़ मारने और ज़्यादती के काम में एक - दूसरे का सहयोग न करो । अल्लाह का डर रखो ; निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा कठोर दंड देनेवाला है

• This goal is attained either in a single shape., i. e. a single stage of metempsychosis, or in several shapes, in this way, that a man perpetually practises virtuous behaviour and accustoms the soul thereto, so that this virtuous behaviour becomes to it a nature and an essential quality.
  यह लक्ष्य या तो ? एक ही योनि ? में अर्थात पुनर्जन्म की एक ही अवस्था में या ? अनेक योनियों ? में इस प्रकार सिद्ध किया जा सकता है कि मनुष्य निरंतर सदाचरण करता रहे और अपनी आत्मा को उसका अभ्यस्त बना ले ताकि उसका यह सदाचरण उसके स्वभाव का एक अंग और विशेष गुण बन जाए.

• Your Lord knows that you and a group of those who are with you get up for prayer sometimes for less than two - thirds of the night, sometimes half and sometimes one - third of it. God determines the duration of the night and day. He knew that it would be hard for you to keep an exact account of the timing of the night prayers, so He turned to you with forgiveness. Thus, recite from the Quran as much as possible. He knew that some of you would be sick, others would travel in the land to seek God ' s favors, and still others would fight for the cause of God. Thus, recite from the Quran as much as possible, be steadfast in prayer, pay the zakat, and give virtuous loans to God. Whatever good deeds you save for the next life, you will certainly find them with God. This is the best investment, and for this you will find the greatest reward. Ask forgiveness from God. God is All - forgiving and All - merciful.
  तुम्हारा परवरदिगार चाहता है कि तुम और तुम्हारे चन्द साथ के लोग दो तिहाई रात के करीब और आधी रात और तिहाई रात खड़े रहते हो और ख़ुदा ही रात और दिन का अच्छी तरह अन्दाज़ा कर सकता है उसे मालूम है कि तुम लोग उस पर पूरी तरह से हावी नहीं हो सकते तो उसने तुम पर मेहरबानी की तो जितना आसानी से हो सके उतना क़ुरान पढ़ लिया करो और वह जानता है कि अनक़रीब तुममें से बाज़ बीमार हो जाएँगे और बाज़ ख़ुदा के फ़ज़ल की तलाश में रूए ज़मीन पर सफर एख्तेयार करेंगे और कुछ लोग ख़ुदा की राह में जेहाद करेंगे तो जितना तुम आसानी से हो सके पढ़ लिया करो और नमाज़ पाबन्दी से पढ़ो और ज़कात देते रहो और ख़ुदा को कर्ज़े हसना दो और जो नेक अमल अपने वास्ते पेश करोगे उसको ख़ुदा के हाँ बेहतर और सिले में बुर्ज़ुग तर पाओगे और ख़ुदा से मग़फेरत की दुआ माँगो बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

• And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “ My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth. ”
  और हमने तो नसीहत के बाद यक़ीनन जुबूर में लिख ही दिया था कि रूए ज़मीन के वारिस हमारे नेक बन्दे होंगे
