  " और हमारे लिए इस संसार में भलाई लिख दे और आख़िरत में भी । हम तेरी ही ओर उन्मुख हुए ।" उसने कहा," अपनी यातना में मैं तो उसी को ग्रस्त करता हूँ, जिसे चाहता हूँ, किन्तु मेरी दयालुता से हर चीज़ आच्छादित है । उसे तो मैं उन लोगों के हक़ में लिखूँगा जो डर रखते और ज़कात देते है और जो हमारी आयतों पर ईमान लाते है

• And ordain for us good in this world, and in the Hereafter. Certainly we have turned unto You." He said: My Punishment I afflict therewith whom I will and My Mercy embraces all things. That I shall ordain for those who are the Muttaqun, and give Zakat ; and those who believe in Our Ayat ;

That I shall ordain for those who do right, and practise regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs ; -

He said: My chastisement, I will afflict with it whom I please, and My mercy encompasses all things ; so I will ordain it for those who guard and pay the poor - rate, and those who believe in Our communications.

• Indeed We shall soon ordain a heavy responsibility upon you.
  निश्चय ही हम तुमपर एक भारी बात डालनेवाले है

• And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you. What! Then if you die, will they abide ?
  और हमने तुमसे पहले भी किसी फ़र्दे बशर को सदा की ज़िन्दगी नहीं दी तो क्या अगर तुम मर जाओगे तो ये लोग हमेशा जिया ही करेंगे
