  उन इनकार करनेवालो से कह दो कि वे यदि बाज़ आ जाएँ तो जो कुछ हो चुका, उसे क्षमा कर दिया जाएगा, किन्तु यदि वे फिर भी वहीं करेंगे तो पूर्ववर्ती लोगों के सिलसिले में जो रीति अपनाई गई वह सामने से गुज़र चुकी है

• Lo! those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah and from the Inviolable Place of Worship, which We have appointed for mankind together, the dweller therein and the nomad: whosoever seeketh wrongful partiality therein, him We shall cause to taste a painful doom.
  जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया और वे अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकते हैं और प्रतिष्ठित मस्जिद से, जिसे हमने सब लोगों के लिए ऐसा बनाया है कि उसमें बराबर है वहाँ का रहनेवाला और बाहर से आया हुआ । और जो व्यक्ति उस में कुटिलता अर्थात ज़ूल्म के साथ कुछ करना चाहेगा, उसे हम दुखद यातना का मज़ा चखाएँगे

• those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire.
  बेशक जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र किया इख्तेयार किया उनको ख़ुदा से न उनके माल ही कुछ बचाएंगे, न उनकी औलाद और यही लोग जहन्नुम के ईधन होंगे

• But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said," This is that for which you used to call."
  तो जब ये लोग उसे करीब से देख लेंगे काफिरों के चेहरे बिगड़ जाएँगे और उनसे कहा जाएगा ये वही है जिसके तुम ख़वास्तग़ार थे

• Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed ; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.
  अल्लाह ने उन लोगों से जो तुममें से ईमान लाए और उन्होने अच्छे कर्म किए, वादा किया है कि वह उन्हें धरती में अवश्य सत्ताधिकार प्रदान करेगा, जैसे उसने उनसे पहले के लोगों को सत्ताधिकार प्रदान किया था । औऱ उनके लिए अवश्य उनके उस धर्म को जमाव प्रदान करेगा जिसे उसने उनके लिए पसन्द किया है । और निश्चय ही उनके वर्तमान भय के पश्चात उसे उनके लिए शान्ति और निश्चिन्तता में बदल देगा । वे मेरी बन्दगी करते है, मेरे साथ किसी चीज़ को साझी नहीं बनाते । और जो कोई इसके पश्चात इनकार करे, तो ऐसे ही लोग अवज्ञाकारी है

• Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless ; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance.
  यही वे लोग है जिन्होंने अपने रब की आयतों का और उससे मिलन का इनकार किया । अतः उनके कर्म जान को लागू हुए, तो हम क़ियामत के दिन उन्हें कोई वज़न न देंगे

• Hast thou not observed those who are hypocrites, they tell their brethren who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture: If ye are driven out, we surely will go out with you, and we will never obey anyone against you, and if ye are attacked we verily will help you. And Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars.
  क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्होंने कपटाचार की नीति अपनाई हैं, वे अपने किताबवाले उन भाइयों से, जो इनकार की नीति अपनाए हुए है, कहते है," यदि तुम्हें निकाला गया तो हम भी अवश्य ही तुम्हारे साथ निकल जाएँगे और तुम्हारे मामले में किसी की बात कभी भी नहीं मानेंगे । और यदि तुमसे युद्ध किया गया तो हम अवश्य तुम्हारी सहायता करेंगे ।" किन्तु अल्लाह गवाही देता है कि वे बिलकुल झूठे है

• Those who disbelieve and avert from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.
  जिन लोगों ने कुफ़्र एख्तेयार किया और ख़ुदा के रास्ते से रोका ख़ुदा ने उनके आमाल अकारत कर दिए

• Verily, those who disbelieve, and hinder from the Path of Allah ; then die while they are disbelievers, Allah will not forgive them.
  बेशक जो लोग काफ़िर हो गए और लोगों को ख़ुदा की राह से रोका, फिर काफिर ही मर गए तो ख़ुदा उनको हरगिज़ नहीं बख्शेगा तो तुम हिम्मत न हारो

• Surely, those who disbelieve after their believing, then increase in unbelief, their repentance shall not be accepted, and these are they that go astray.
  रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने अपने ईमान के पश्चात इनकार किया और अपने इनकार में बढ़ते ही गए, उनकी तौबा कदापि स्वीकार न होगी । वास्तव में वही पथभ्रष्ट हैं
