• " Then will come after that seven dreadful, which will devour what ye shall have laid by in advance for them, - except a little which ye shall have guarded.
  फिर उसके पश्चात सात कठिन वर्ष आएँगे जो वे सब खा जाएँगे जो तुमने उनके लिए पहले से इकट्ठा कर रखा होगा, सिवाय उस थोड़े - से हिस्से के जो तुम सुरक्षित कर लोगे

• Those who devour the possessions of the orphans unjustly devour only fire, and will surely burn in Hell.
  जो यतीमों के माल नाहक़ चट कर जाया करते हैं वह अपने पेट में बस अंगारे भरते हैं और अनक़रीब जहन्नुम वासिल होंगे

• Then after that will come seven hard years which will devour all that ye have prepared for them, save a little of that which ye have stored.
  फिर उसके पश्चात सात कठिन वर्ष आएँगे जो वे सब खा जाएँगे जो तुमने उनके लिए पहले से इकट्ठा कर रखा होगा, सिवाय उस थोड़े - से हिस्से के जो तुम सुरक्षित कर लोगे

• those who say: Lo! Allah hath charged us that we believe not in any messenger until he bring us an offering which fire shall devour. Say: Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that which ye describe. Why then did ye slay them ? if ye are truthful!
  ये वही लोग है जिनका कहना है कि" अल्लाह ने हमें ताकीद की है कि हम किसी रसूल पर ईमान न लाएँ, जबतक कि वह हमारे सामने ऐसी क़ुरबानी न पेश करे जिसे आग खा जाए ।" कहो," तुम्हारे पास मुझसे पहले कितने ही रसूल खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आ चुके है, और वे वह चीज़ भी लाए थे जिसके लिए तुम कह रहे हो । फिर यदि तुम सच्चे हो तो तुमने उन्हें क़त्ल क्यों किया ?"

• But those who devour interest become like the one whom Satan has bewitched and maddened by his touch. They have been condemned to this condition because they say," Trade is just like interest", whereas Allah has made trade lawful and interest unlawful. Henceforth, if one abstains from taking interest after receiving this admonition from his Lord, no legal action will be taken against him regarding the interest he had devoured before ; his case shall ultimately go to Allah. But if one repeats the same crime after this,. he shall go to Hell, where he shall abide for ever.
  जो लोग सूद खाते हैं वह खड़े न हो सकेंगे मगर उस शख्स की तरह खड़े होंगे जिस को शैतान ने लिपट कर मख़बूतुल हवास बना दिया है ये इस वजह से कि वह उसके क़ायल हो गए कि जैसा बिक्री का मामला वैसा ही सूद का मामला हालॉकि बिक्री को तो खुदा ने हलाल और सूद को हराम कर दिया बस जिस शख्स के पास उसके परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से नसीहत आये और वह बाज़ आ गया तो इस हुक्म के नाज़िल होने से पहले जो सूद ले चुका वह तो उस का हो चुका और उसका अम्र ख़ुदा के हवाले है और जो मनाही के बाद फिर सूद ले तो ऐसे ही लोग जहन्नुम में रहेंगे

• “ And cast down which is in your right hand – it will devour all that they have fabricated ; what they have made is only a magician’s deceit ; and a magician is never successful, wherever he comes. ”
  और तुम्हारे दाहिने हाथ में जो है उसे डाल तो दो कि जो करतब उन लोगों ने की है उसे हड़प कर जाए क्योंकि उन लोगों ने जो कुछ करतब की वह एक जादूगर की करतब है और जादूगर जहाँ जाए कामयाब नहीं हो सकता
