  और जिन लोगों को ख़ुदा ने अपने फ़ज़ल से कुछ दिया है बुख्ल करते हैं वह हरगिज़ इस ख्याल में न रहें कि ये उनके लिए बेहतर होगा बल्कि ये उनके हक़ में बदतर है क्योंकि जिस का बुख्ल करते हैं अनक़रीब ही क़यामत के दिन उसका तौक़ बनाकर उनके गले में पहनाया जाएगा और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की मीरास ख़ुदा ही की है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़बरदार है

• And strive for God, with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you, and has not burdened you in religion—the faith of your father Abraham. It is he who named you Muslims before, and in this. So that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and you may be witnesses over the people. So pray regularly, and give regular charity, and cleave to God. He is your Protector. What an excellent Protector, and what an excellent Helper.
  ताकि तुम कामयाब हो और जो हक़ जिहाद करने का है खुदा की राह में जिहाद करो उसी नें तुमको बरगुज़ीदा किया और उमूरे दीन में तुम पर किसी तरह की सख्ती नहीं की तुम्हारे बाप इबराहीम ने मजहब को ने तुम्हारा पहले ही से मुसलमान नाम रखा और कुरान में भी ताकि रसूल तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में गवाह बने और तुम पाबन्दी से नामज़ पढ़ा करो और ज़कात देते रहो और खुदा ही को मज़बूत पकड़ो वही तुम्हारा सरपरस्त है तो क्या अच्छा सरपरस्त है और क्या अच्छा मददगार है

• Abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with Allah and a covenant with men, and they have become deserving of wrath from Allah, and humiliation is made to cleave to them ; this is because they disbelieved in the communications of Allah and slew the prophets unjustly ; this is because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits.
  और जहॉ कहीं हत्ते चढ़े उनपर रूसवाई की मार पड़ी मगर ख़ुदा के एहद और लोगों के एहद के ज़रिये से और फिर हेरफेर के खुदा के गज़ब में पड़ गए और उनपर मोहताजी की मार पड़ी ये इस सबब से कि वह ख़ुदा की आयतों से इन्कार करते थे और पैग़म्बरों को नाहक़ क़त्ल करते थे ये सज़ा उसकी है कि उन्होंने नाफ़रमानी की और हद से गुज़र गए थे

• Had there been a Qur ' an which could have made the mountains move, or the earth to cleave asunder, or the dead to speak, yet all authority belongs to God. Have the believers not learnt that if God had so willed He could have guided all mankind ? As for unbelievers, they will be visited by misfortune endlessly for what they have done ; or it would sit in their homes till the promised threat of God comes to pass. Surely God does not go back on His promise.
  और अगर कोई ऐसा क़ुरान जिसकी बरकत से पहाड़ चल खड़े होते या उसकी वजह से ज़मीन तय की जाती और उसकी बरकत से मुर्दे बोल उठते बल्कि सच यूँ है कि सब काम का एख्तेयार ख़ुदा ही को है तो क्या अभी तक ईमानदारों को चैन नहीं आया कि अगर ख़ुदा चाहता तो सब लोगों की हिदायत कर देता और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तेयार किया उन पर उनकी करतूत की सज़ा में कोई मुसीबत पड़ती ही रहेगी या तो उनके घरों के आस पास नाज़िल होगी यहाँ तक कि ख़ुदा का वायदा पूरा हो कर रहे और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ख़ुदा हरगिज़ ख़िलाफ़े वायदा नहीं करता

• Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer ; but you have indeed rejected, so that which shall cleave shall come.
  तुम कह दो कि अगर दुआ नही किया करते तो मेरा परवरदिगार भी तुम्हारी कुछ परवाह नही करता तुमने तो झुठलाया तो अन क़रीब ही तुम्हारे सर पडेग़ा

• Had We sent down this Qur ' an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.
  अगर हम इस क़ुरान को किसी पहाड़ पर नाज़िल करते तो तुम उसको देखते कि ख़ुदा के डर से झुका और फटा जाता है ये मिसालें हम लोगों के लिए बयान करते हैं ताकि वह ग़ौर करें

• And when We made the House a visitation and a sanctuary for the people ' Make the place where Abraham stood a place of prayer. ' And We made a covenant with Abraham and Ishmael: ' Purify My House for those who circumambulate around it, and those who cleave to it, to those who bow and prostrate '
  जब हमने ख़ानए काबा को लोगों के सवाब और पनाह की जगह क़रार दी और हुक्म दिया गया कि इबराहीम की जगह को नमाज़ की जगह बनाओ और इबराहीम व इसमाइल से अहद व पैमान लिया कि मेरे घर को तवाफ़ और एतक़ाफ़ और रूकू और सजदा करने वालों के वास्ते साफ सुथरा रखो

• Had there been a Qur ' an which could have made the mountains move, or the earth to cleave asunder, or the dead to speak, yet all authority belongs to God.   और यदि कोई ऐसा क़ुरआन होता जिसके द्वारा पहाड़ चलने लगते या उससे धरती खंड - खंड हो जाती या उसके द्वारा मुर्दे बोलने लगते । नहीं, बल्कि बात यह है कि सारे काम अल्लाह ही के अधिकार में है । फिर क्या जो लोग ईमान लाए है वे यह जानकर निराश नहीं हुए कि यदि अल्लाह चाहता तो सारे ही मनुष्यों को सीधे मार्ग पर लगा देता ? और इनकार करनेवालों पर तो उनकी करतूतों के बदले में कोई न कोई आपदा निरंतर आती ही रहेगी, या उनके घर के निकट ही कहीं उतरती रहेगी, यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह का वादा आ पूरा होगा । निस्संदेह अल्लाह अपने वादे के विरुद्ध नहीं जाता ।"

• The day on which the earth shall cleave asunder under them, they will make haste ; that is a gathering together easy to Us.
  जिस दिन धरती उनपर से फट जाएगी और वे तेजी से निकल पड़ेंगे । यह इकट्ठा करना हमारे लिए अत्यन्त सरल है

• And the two seas are not alike: the one sweet, that subdues thirst by its excessive sweetness, pleasant to drink ; and the other salt, that burns by its saltness ; yet from each of them you eat fresh flesh and bring forth ornaments which you wear ; and you see the ships cleave through it that you may seek of His bounty and that you may be grateful.
  दो समन्दर बावजूद मिल जाने के यकसाँ नहीं हो जाते ये मीठा खुश ज़ाएका कि उसका पीना सुवारत है और ये खारी कड़ुवा है और तुम लोग दोनों से तरो ताज़ा गोश्त खाते हो और निकालते हो जिन्हें तुम पहनते हो और तुम देखते हो कि कश्तियां दरिया में फाड़ती चली जाती हैं ताकि उसके फज्ल की तलाश करो और ताकि तुम लोग शुक्र करो
