• Believers, turn to God in sincere repentance. Your Lord may well forgive your bad deeds and admit you into gardens watered by running streams, on a Day when God will not abase the Prophet and those who have believed with him. Their light will shine out ahead of them and on their right, and they will say:" Lord perfect our light for us, and forgive us ; You have power over all things."
  ऐ ईमान लानेवाले! अल्लाह के आगे तौबा करो, विशुद्ध तौबा । बहुत सम्भव है कि तुम्हारा रब तुम्हारी बुराइयाँ तुमसे दूर कर दे और तुम्हें ऐसे बाग़ों में दाख़िल करे जिनके नीचे नहरे बह रही होंगी, जिस दिन अल्लाह नबी को और उनको जो ईमान लाकर उसके साथ हुए, रुसवा न करेगा । उनका प्रकाश उनके आगे - आगे दौड़ रहा होगा और उनके दाहिने हाथ मे होगा । वे कह रहे होंगे," ऐ हमारे रब! हमारे लिए हमारे प्रकाश को पूर्ण कर दे और हमें क्षमा कर । निश्चय ही तू हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य रखता है ।"

  कितने ही नबी ऐसे गुज़रे है जिनके साथ होकर बहुत - से ईशभक्तों ने युद्ध किया, तो अल्लाह के मार्ग में जो मुसीबत उन्हें पहुँची उससे वे न तो हताश हुए और न उन्होंने कमज़ोरी दिखाई और न ऐसा हुआ कि वे दबे हो । और अल्लाह दृढ़तापूर्वक जमे रहनेवालों से प्रेम करता है

• “ You will surely know upon whom will come a torment that will abase him, and upon whom will fall a lasting torment. ”
  और तुम्हें अनक़रीब ही मालूम हो जाएगा कि किस पर अज़ाब नाज़िल होता है कि उसे रुसवा कर दे और किस पर दाइमी अज़ाब नाज़िल होता है

• Whatever palm - tree you cut down or leave standing upon its roots, It is by Allah ' s command, and that He may abase the transgressors.
  तुमने खजूर के जो वृक्ष काटे या उन्हें उनकी जड़ों पर खड़ा छोड़ दिया तो यह अल्लाह ही की अनुज्ञा से हुआ और इसलिए कि वह अवज्ञाकारियों को रुसवा करे

• Say: ' O Allah, Owner of the Kingdom. You give the kingdom to whom You will, and take it away from whom You will, You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will. In Your Hand is good, You have power over all things.
  तुम तो यह दुआ मॉगों कि ऐ ख़ुदा तमाम आलम के मालिक तू ही जिसको चाहे सल्तनत दे और जिससे चाहे सल्तनत छीन ले और तू ही जिसको चाहे इज्ज़त दे और जिसे चाहे ज़िल्लत दे हर तरह की भलाई तेरे ही हाथ में है बेशक तू ही हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है

• and so that He might cut off a portion of those who are bent on denying the truth or abase them so that they might be turned back frustrated.
