Firozabad is known for the bangle making industry. The families in this city including the young children, work in this industry. These young children work for their livelihood. Many people go blind because of bangle making but the families in that place have no other option. So it is obvious that there is a probability that the children might go blind. At this age of studying, enjoying life these children have to work. There are many children in our country who have lost childhood. At the age of playing on the grounds, you will see them making bangles and losing their eye sight. It is quite sad to see that in the country where the young children are supposed to be the future, they have to work for the money.

Story of Agartala city

Once in Agartala city, the city had to face the floods. This flood swept away the homes of all the tribal people situated over there. So, they have to move from there in search of food and shelter. The flood made the young children work for their livelihood. They had to run from one place to another. These young children used to carry sacks in order to collect gold from garbage. They had no other option instead of doing this. They were not able to go to the schools.

Child labor is quite a serious issue in our country. On one side you will see the children with the school bags going to school and on the other hand you will see the children with a bag collecting stuffs from garbage. Isn’t this sad when you see this kind of situation around you? The financial problems and poverty are the supreme reasons for child labor. These children have to do work because of their irresponsible parents. Parents should not leave their children to work like this.

Child labor is a serious issue

Child labor is a crime. If you see any child working in the hotels, factories or in any other place you are supposed to report it. Don’t just see it happening, work for it. Work for you country’s well-being. These young children are future of our country. It is our duty to not let these children work. These children should be given free primary education. These children too deserve to go to school and learn something. If you find these kinds of children carrying sacks or begging, feed them something. Give them something to eat.
