Remember? I know you can never forget. Just think a bit!

This is the day when a 23 year old girl was gang raped and beaten by 6 men in a private bus. This took place in the capital of our country, Delhi. She was returning from a movie with her friend and got victim of the henious crime.

This incident shocked and traumatized the entire nation. People protested all over the country, but we lost her.

Now you may think why I am writing about it after so many years. Recently I have watched a web series "Delhi Crimes" on Netflix, there I found some serious issues that they have shown and need immediate attention.

The most important and crucial is "Sex Education". Our country is lacking in it. Just answer a simple question. Who has told you about menstruation first, your mother or your father? I guess most of your answer will be mother. Have you ever wondered why not father?

Now let's come to SEX. Can you tell me the difference between "Sex" and "Rape"? Ofcourse you can. But many can't. They think that "Rape is just like Sex". They think that when a man has his urges, he can satisfy whether the woman want to get involve or not. If she refuses, she is being forced. This happens because they a have the proper education.

In villages, drop out at primary school is common. Due to poverty, parents force children to work for livelihood. For this their education remains incomplete.

In various household, mostly in remote areas women are treated like objects. Children have an impact of it.

Recently Supreme Court has banned porn from India, but is that a solution? The rapists are roaming freely still.

Now you may say that nowadays we have sex education in our syllabus and many government initiative along with NGOs are making people aware, but.....

Is the people in our country still talk about it freely? Does the number of rape cases decreasing? Are the rapists being punished severely?

NO.

So what is to be done ?

Spreading of sex education to remote areas and making sure that they follow them is an important measure. Talking to them in their local tongue and make them understand is what we can do to aware them.

More number of advertisement by government are needed to make people talk about sex freely.

Most importantly severe punishment to rapists and severe laws for them. This will make people think twice about committing the sin.

These all I had to say. Let's make our country safe!
