Chennai water crisis is in the news and on people’s social media since it has been hit but has the people really felt it? The drought in Chennai didn’t spare anyone from rich and poor. It grabbed the political, social media and people’s attention.

Here is the BUT.

ARE PEOPLE REALLY AWARE?

I recently read an article in the Hindu “ Ways to save water.”

Is it the case that we didn’t know this earlier? Or the drought is the alarm clock for the rest of the country?

If it is , then are we keeping the alarm clock on snooze and sleeping a bit more like we do everyday and get late for the office daily?

But what we really need to know is, what we are doing is not repairable.

Once gone Gone Forever.

Educating people through Social Media is really necessary.

But what we really need is awareness in self.

I won’t write how to save water. You all know it very well. If you really want to read go and read in hindu.com.

All I want you to do is : PLEASE JUST DON’T POST ,TAKE A PLEDGE TO SAVE WATER DAILY WHENEVER YOU ARE USING IT. BE GRATEFUL THAT YOU HAVE ENOUGH WATER. YOUR KIDS MAY NOT GET IT ALL HIS LIFE.

AND PLEASE PLANT A TREE IN YOUR BIRTHDAY EACH YEAR AND TAKE CARE OF IT.
