I dream so often of wandering about
To roam about in different places
To roam about freely like a bird
To see the seven wonders of the world
I dream of having beautiful wings;
The colorful wings of a butterfly
Like a butterfly moves from flower to flower
In search of nectar sweets
I dream of visiting different places
In search of happy peoples to meet.
I dream of living happy and free
No one there to tell me anything
Neither'do this' nor 'do that'; nothing
The only thing which I want them to say is
'you can do anything!'
I dream of the day my quality shines out
Like bright rays that peep from the cloud
And shimmer in the eyes of the people
They don't just see my looks or my face
But all my qualities and my grace
I dream that every child become free
To study and to play and not toil under a tree
To have a life as it is meant to be
That all have food and good health
That peace and happiness are their real wealth.
I dream that the world is evergreen
Where flowers with pink and yellow sheen
Make it smile like a reigning queen,
These are the things about which I dream.
I believe they are not exactly extreme
And in this life, I hope to live my dream.
