I have had enough since a last couple of days. Enough of your posting condolences all over the net. Enough of your hashtags demanding justice. Enough of your pretendence like you care. Enough of your asking to sign petitions like it would do any good. Enough.
WHAT IS THE BIG FUSS ABOUT!
About how another girl got raped, again? About how brutally she was killed by monsters living amongst you, again? About how furious you are, again? About how you’re dying to grab candles and walk past the city, again? About how bad you want to change the world, yet again?
Because yes, it happened again and trust me it will keep happening, only your hashtags would vary every damn time.
And no, you cannot help it. Your condolences cannot help it. Your coming out on the streets cannot help it. Your blaming it on religions cannot help it. Your judiciary system cannot help it either.
Because, the damage is already done. She left for good though.
And before blaming everything on religion, politics, gender, government or the country, try digging within yourself first. Is it only the rape culture that triggers you to take a stand?
You accuse just those 4 inhumane men? Whereas from where I see, each and everyone of us is the culprit.
Tell me that you actually stood against your friend who tried to harass that girl in your bus. Tell me how you stopped your male friend from materializing that girl who just passed by. Tell me you didn’t judge a girl by the dress she wore or by her relationship status.Tell me you never stared a girl so bad that she held her eye down. Tell me you didn’t try to satisfy your lust just by getting a glimpse of her cleavage. Tell me you never made fun of some girl you could never date ’cause frankly you know she got high standards. Tell me?
And if you cannot, I plead you to stop. Stop acting. Stop pretending.
And if you still are too determined to change the world, let’s start with you. Only if you got the balls. TRY.
As far as your concern lies about the little girl, she is in a better world as of now. Much better than the one she left.
For now, I am just a little concerned about your mother, sister, girlfriend, wife and daughter though. I hope they get to see ”the better” in this world without having to go to the other world.
ALL THE BEST YOU CHARGED UP MAN. LET’S SEE UNTIL WHEN THE FLAME LASTS.
