Ironically, the instance you call someone judgemental, you're the person who is judging not him.
If we go by the dictionary meaning of the word judgemental it states "using your tact to give judgement or to display a critical point of view". Which according to me is fairly correct.
But these days the definition and implementation of the word judgemental has modified to a noticeable extent. Still, the basic idea has remained identical, people have started takinh this word in a defaming way.
What we tend to anticipate is that being judgemental is just about wrong and one should not be doing it. We all want to save ourselves from this label.
But honestly if an individual contains a sturdy plan of action mind and if he's deciding the folks, things, situations or even his own life , what is wrong with it?
The Almighty has given us senses after all, we can see, hear, touch smell and taste. And once we use any of these, our mind reacts to it by thinking and sometimes our mouth responds by giving a judgement on that. And I can say all of us have experienced this process. Most of us control our mouth and not let it open up and share what our mind has thought just because we think the person in front will pass a judgement that we are #Judgemental.
Lets become judgemental in a true and pure sense:
1.Judging after spending sufficient time with a person.
2.Judging with no prejudice.
3.Being judgemental about both the postives and negatives in a person.
4.Judging not just for the sake of it, but for the benefits of people and society.(Using energy in an efficient way!)
-We should take care of the feelings of person in front and should not pass lame jokes that would make him/her feel inferior .
-On the long run, it should not affect the individual.
And start accepting the grand yet tiny label of 'Being Judgemental'.
Happy judging!
