• And do not obey any vile swearer.
  और तुम ऐसे के कहने में न आना जो बहुत क़समें खाता ज़लील औक़ात ऐबजू

• And they follow that which the Satans recited in the reign of Sulaiman ; and Sulaiman blasphemed not, but the Satans blasphemed. ; teaching people magic ; and they follow that also which was sent down unto the two angels in Babil, Harut, and Marut. Unto none the twain taught it until they had said: We are but a temptation, so blaspheme not ; but they learned from the twain that wherewith they might separate man from his wife ; and they could harm none thereby save by Allah ' s will. And they have learnt that which harmeth them, and profiteth them not ; and assuredly they know that whosoever purchaseth it, his is no portion in the Hereafter. And surely vile is the price for which they have bartered themselves, if they but knew!
  जिसको सुलेमान के ज़माने की सलतनत में शयातीन जपा करते थे हालाँकि सुलेमान ने कुफ्र नहीं इख़तेयार किया लेकिन शैतानों ने कुफ्र एख़तेयार किया कि वह लोगों को जादू सिखाया करते थे और वह चीज़ें जो हारूत और मारूत दोनों फ़रिश्तों पर बाइबिल में नाज़िल की गई थी हालाँकि ये दोनों फ़रिश्ते किसी को सिखाते न थे जब तक ये न कह देते थे कि हम दोनों तो फ़क़त है पस तो बेईमान न हो जाना उस पर भी उनसे वह सीखते थे जिनकी वजह से मिया बीवी में तफ़रक़ा डालते हालाँकि बग़ैर इज्ने खुदावन्दी वह अपनी इन बातों से किसी को ज़रर नहीं पहुँचा सकते थे और ये लोग ऐसी बातें सीखते थे जो खुद उन्हें नुक़सान पहुँचाती थी और कुछ पहुँचाती थी बावजूद कि वह यक़ीनन जान चुके थे कि जो शख्स इन का ख़रीदार हुआ वह आख़िरत में बेनसीब हैं और बेशुबह बहुत ही बड़ा है जिसके बदले उन्होंने अपनी जानों को बेचा काश सोचे समझे होते

• And recall what time Allah took a bond from those who were vouchsafed the Book: ye shall surely expound it to the people and ye shall hide it not ; whereafter they cast it behind their backs, and bartered it for a small price. vile is that wherewith they have bartered.
  याद करो जब अल्लाह ने उन लोगों से, जिन्हें किताब प्रदान की गई थी, वचन लिया था कि" उसे लोगों के सामने भली - भाँति स्पट् करोगे, उसे छिपाओगे नहीं ।" किन्तु उन्होंने उसे पीठ पीछे डाल दिया और तुच्छ मूल्य पर उसका सौदा किया । कितना बुरा सौदा है जो ये कर रहे है

• What we will have to say is that man is vile.
  तब हमें यही कहना पड़ेगा कि व्यक्ति बुरा है

• And the inmates of Paradise will call to the residents of Hell:" We have found that the promise made to us by our Lord was true. Have you also found the promise of your Lord to be true ?" They will answer:" Yes." Then a crier will call from among them:" The curse of God be on the vile,
  जन्नतवाले आगवालों को पुकारेंगे," हमसे हमारे रब ने जो वादा किया था, उसे हमने सच पाया । तो क्या तुमसे तुम्हारे रब ने जो वादा कर रखा था, तुमने भी उसे सच पाया ?" वे कहेंगे," हाँ ।" इतने में एक पुकारनेवाला उनके बीच पुकारेगा," अल्लाह की फिटकार है अत्याचारियों पर ।"

• In order that Allah may distinguish the vile from the good ; and the vile He shall place one upon anot her, and shall pile it all together, and shall place it into Hell. Those! it is they who are the losers.
  ताकि ख़ुदा पाक को नापाक से जुदा कर दे और नापाक लोगों को एक दूसरे पर रखके ढेर बनाए फिर सब को जहन्नुम में झोंक दे यही लोग घाटा उठाने वाले हैं

• Then God sent forth a raven, scratching into the earth, to show him how he might conceal the vile body of his brother. He said, ' Woe is me! Am I unable to be as this raven, and so conceal my brother ' s vile body ? ' And he became one of the remorseful.
  तब अल्लाह ने एक कौआ भेजा जो भूमि कुरेदने लगा, ताकि उसे दिखा दे कि वह अपने भाई के शव को कैसे छिपाए । कहने लगा," अफ़सोस मुझ पर! क्या मैं इस कौए जैसा भी न हो सका कि अपने भाई का शव छिपा देता ?" फिर वह लज्जित हुआ

  और वह ज़हर का सा घूँट पीकर रह जाता है जिसकी खुशखबरी दी गई है अपनी क़ौम के लोगों से छिपा फिरता है कि क्या इसको ज़िल्लत उठाके ज़िन्दा रहने दे या इसको ज़मीन में गाड़ दे - देखो तुम लोग किस क़दर बुरा एहकाम लगाते हैं

• And thou shalt see many of them hastening toward sin and transgression and their devouring of the forbidden. vile indeed is that which they have been doing!
  तुम देखते हो कि उनमें से बहुतेरे लोग हक़ मारने, ज़्यादती करने और हरामख़ोरी में बड़ी तेज़ी दिखाते है । निश्चय ही बहुत ही बुरा है, जो वे कर रहे है
