• And strive hard in Allah, a striving as is due to Him ; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you an hardship in religion ; the faith of your father Ibrahim ; He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Apostle may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people ; therefore keep up prayer and pay the poor - rate and hold fast by Allah ; He is your Guardian ; how excellent the Guardian and how excellent the Helper!
  और परस्पर मिलकर जिहाद करो अल्लाह के मार्ग में, जैसा कि जिहाद का हक़ है । उसने तुम्हें चुन लिया है - और धर्म के मामले में तुमपर कोई तंगी और कठिनाई नहीं रखी । तुम्हारे बाप इबराहीम के पंथ को तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द किया । उसने इससे पहले तुम्हारा नाम मुस्लिम रखा था और इस ध्येय से - ताकि रसूल तुमपर गवाह हो और तुम लोगों पर गवाह हो । अतः नमाज़ का आयोजन करो और ज़कात दो और अल्लाह को मज़बूती से पकड़े रहो । वही तुम्हारा संरक्षक है । तो क्या ही अच्छा संरक्षक है और क्या ही अच्छा सहायक!

• And a bearer of burthen will not bear another ' s burthen, and if one heavy - laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself ; and Unto Allah is the return.
  कोई बोझ उठानेवाला किसी दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा । और यदि कोई कोई से दबा हुआ व्यक्ति अपना बोझ उठाने के लिए पुकारे तो उसमें से कुछ भी न उठाया, यद्यपि वह निकट का सम्बन्धी ही क्यों न हो । तुम तो केवल सावधान कर रहे हो । जो परोक्ष में रहते हुए अपने रब से डरते हैं और नमाज़ के पाबन्द हो चुके है । और जिसने स्वयं को विकसित किया वह अपने ही भले के लिए अपने आपको विकसित करेगा । और पलटकर जाना तो अल्लाह ही की ओर है

• And the king said, “ Bring him to me” ; so when the bearer came to him, Yusuf said, “ Return to your lord and ask him what is the status of the women who had cut their hands ; indeed my Lord knows their deception. ”
  सम्राट ने कहा," उसे मेरे पास ले आओ ।" किन्तु जब दूत उसके पास पहुँचा तो उसने कहा," अपने स्वामी के पास वापस जाओ और उससे पूछो कि उन स्त्रियों का क्या मामला है, जिन्होंने अपने हाथ घायल कर लिए थे । निस्संदेह मेरा रब उनकी मक्कारी को भली - भाँति जानता है ।"

• “ That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another,
  जिन्होने किया इन सहीफ़ों में ये है, कि कोई शख़्श दूसरे का बोझ नहीं उठाएगा

• Say: What! shall I seek a Lord other than Allah ? And He is the Lord of all things ; and no soul earns but against itself, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another ; then to your Lord is your return, so He will inform you of that in which you differed.
  कहो," क्या मैं अल्लाह से भिन्न कोई और रब ढूढूँ, जबकि हर चीज़ का रब वही है!" और यह कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो कुछ कमाता है, उसका फल वही भोगेगा ; कोई बोझ उठानेवाला किसी दूसरे का बोझ नहीं उठाएगा । फिर तुम्हें अपने रब की ओर लौटकर जाना है । उस समय वह तुम्हें बता देगा, जिसमें परस्पर तुम्हारा मतभेद और झगड़ा था

• Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not ?
  फिर जब शुभ सूचना देनेवाला आया तो उसने उस को उसके मुँह पर डाल दिया और तत्क्षण उसकी नेत्र - ज्योति लौट आई । उसने कहा," क्या मैंने तुमसे कहा नहीं था कि अल्लाह की ओर से जो मैं जानता हूँ, तुम नहीं जानते ।"

• We have sent you for no other reason but to be a bearer of glad news and warning.
  और हमने तो तुमको बस खुशख़बरी देने वाला और डराने वाला बनाकर भेजा है

• Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them.
  हम ही ने तुमको यक़ीनन कुरान के साथ खुशख़बरी देने वाला और डराने वाला बनाकर भेजा और कोई उम्मत

• If you are ungrateful, Allah has indeed no need of you, though He does not approve ingratitude for His servants ; and if you give thanks, He approves that for you. No bearer shall bear another’s burden ; then your return will be to your Lord, whereat He will inform you concerning what you used to do. Indeed, He knows best what is in the breasts.
  यदि तुम इनकार करोगे तो अल्लाह तुमसे निस्पृह है । यद्यपि वह अपने बन्दों के लिए इनकार को पसन्द नहीं करता, किन्तु यदि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखाओगे, तो उसे वह तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द करता है । कोई बोझ न उठाएगा । फिर तुम्हारी वापसी अपने रब ही की ओर है । और वह तुम्हे बता देगा, जो कुछ तुम करते रहे होगे । निश्चय ही वह सीनों तक की बातें जानता है
