• Those who remained behind of the bedouins will say to you," Our properties and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not within their hearts. Say," Then who could prevent Allah at all if He intended for you harm or intended for you benefit ? Rather, ever is Allah, with what you do, Acquainted.
  जो बद्दू पीछे रह गए थे, वे अब तुमसे कहेगे," हमारे माल और हमारे घरवालों ने हमें व्यस्त कर रखा था ; तो आप हमारे लिए क्षमा की प्रार्थना कीजिए ।" वे अपनी ज़बानों से वे बातें कहते है जो उनके दिलों में नहीं । कहना कि," कौन है जो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में तुम्हारे किए किसी चीज़ का अधिकार रखता है, यदि वह तुम्हें कोई हानि पहुँचानी चाहे या वह तुम्हें कोई लाभ पहुँचाने का इरादा करे ? बल्कि जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसकी ख़बर रखता है । -

• They ask you about the booty captured during a war. Tell them," It belongs to God and the Messengers. If you have faith, have fear of God. Settle the disputes among yourselves and obey God and His Messengers."
  तुम से लोग अनफाल के बारे में पूछा करते हैं तुम कह दो कि अनफाल मख़सूस ख़ुदा और रसूल के वास्ते है तो ख़ुदा से डरो अपने बाहमी मामलात की इसलाह करो और अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो ख़ुदा की और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो

• some say," There were three and the dog was the fourth one," Others say," There were five and the dog was the sixth one." In reality, they are just feeling around in the dark. Still some of them say," There were seven and the dog was the eighth one.", say," My Lord has the best knowledge of their number. You know very little about it." Do not insist on arguing with them, but merely tell them the story as it has been revealed to you and do not ask anyone about them.
  क़रीब है कि लोग कहेगें कि वह तीन आदमी थे चौथा उनका कुत्ताा है और कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि वह पाँच आदमी थे छठा उनका कुत्ताा है ग़ैब में अटकल लगाते हैं और कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि सात आदमी हैं और आठवाँ उनका कुत्ताा है तुम कह दो की उनका सुमार मेरा परवरदिगार ही ख़ब जानता है उन के थोडे ही लोग जानते हैं तो तुम असहाब कहफ के बारे में सरसरी गुफ्तगू के सिवा न झगड़ों और उनके बारे में उन लोगों से किसी से कुछ पूछ गछ नहीं

• O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter ; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! नबी के घरों में प्रवेश न करो, सिवाय इसके कि कभी तुम्हें खाने पर आने की अनुमति दी जाए । वह भी इस तरह कि उसकी तैयारी की प्रतिक्षा में न रहो । अलबत्ता जब तुम्हें बुलाया जाए तो अन्दर जाओ, और जब तुम खा चुको तो उठकर चले जाओ, बातों में लगे न रहो । निश्चय ही यह हरकत नबी को तकलीफ़ देती है । किन्तु उन्हें तुमसे लज्जा आती है । किन्तु अल्लाह सच्ची बात कहने से लज्जा नहीं करता । और जब तुम उनसे कुछ माँगों तो उनसे परदे के पीछे से माँगो । यह अधिक शुद्धता की बात है तुम्हारे दिलों के लिए और उनके दिलों के लिए भी । तुम्हारे लिए वैध नहीं कि तुम अल्लाह के रसूल को तकलीफ़ पहुँचाओ और न यह कि उसके बाद कभी उसकी पत्नियों से विवाह करो । निश्चय ही अल्लाह की दृष्टि में यह बड़ी गम्भीर बात है

• THEY ask YOU of spoils of war. Tell them:" The benefits belong to God and His Messenger." So fulfil your duty to God and keep peace among yourselves. Obey God and the Prophet, If you really believe.
  तुम से लोग अनफाल के बारे में पूछा करते हैं तुम कह दो कि अनफाल मख़सूस ख़ुदा और रसूल के वास्ते है तो ख़ुदा से डरो अपने बाहमी मामलात की इसलाह करो और अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो ख़ुदा की और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो

• And on that Day your Lord will gather these people together as well as their deities, whom they worship besides AIlah. Then He will ask them," Did you mislead these servants of Mine, or did they themselves go astray ?"
  और जिस दिन ख़ुदा उन लोगों को और जिनकी ये लोग ख़ुदा को छोड़कर परसतिश किया करते हैं जमा करेगा और पूछेगा क्या तुम ही ने हमारे उन बन्दों को गुमराह कर दिया था या ये लोग खुद राह रास्ते से भटक गए थे
