  तो शायद तुम उसमें से कुछ छोड़ बैठोगे, जो तुम्हारी ओर प्रकाशना रूप में भेजी जा रही है । और तुम इस बात पर तंगदिल हो रहे हो कि वे कहते है," उसपर कोई ख़ज़ाना क्यों नहीं उतरा या उसके साथ कोई फ़रिश्ता क्यों नहीं आया ?" तुम तो केवल सचेत करनेवाले हो । हर चीज़ अल्लाह ही के हवाले है

• They say, ‘Why has not an angel been sent down to him ? ’ Were We to send down an angel, the matter would surely be decided, and then they would not be granted any respite.
  उनका तो कहना है," इस पर कोई फ़रिश्ता क्यों नहीं उतारा गया ?" हालाँकि यदि हम फ़रिश्ता उतारते तो फ़ैसला हो चुका होता । फिर उन्हें कोई मुहल्लत न मिलती

• I do not say to you that I possess Allah ' s treasures, nor that I have access to the realm beyond the ken of sense - perception, nor do I claim to be an angel. Nor do I say regarding those whom you look upon with disdain that Allah will not bestow any good upon them. Allah knows best what is in their hearts. Were I to say so I would be one of the wrongdoers. '
  और मै तो तुमसे ये नहीं कहता कि मेरे पास खुदाई ख़ज़ाने हैं और न मै ग़ैब वॉ हूँ और ये कहता हूँ कि मै फरिश्ता हूँ और जो लोग तुम्हारी नज़रों में ज़लील हैं उन्हें मै ये नहीं कहता कि ख़ुदा उनके साथ हरगिज़ भलाई नहीं करेगा उन लोगों के दिलों की बात ख़ुदा ही खूब जानता है और अगर मै ऐसा कहूँ तो मै भी यक़ीनन ज़ालिम हूँ

• Say: I say not unto you I possess the treasures of Allah, nor that I have knowledge of the Unseen ; and I say not unto you: Lo! I am an angel. I follow only that which is inspired in me. Say: Are the blind man and the seer equal ? Will ye not then take thought ?
  उनसे कह दो कि मै तो ये नहीं कहता कि मेरे पास ख़ुदा के ख़ज़ाने हैं और न मै गैब के जानता हूँ और न मै तुमसे ये कहता हूँ कि मै फरिश्ता हूँ मै तो बस जो मेरे पास वही की जाती है उसी का पाबन्द हूँ कि अन्धा और ऑंख वाला बराबर हो सकता है तो क्या तुम नहीं सोचते

• Say: ' I do not say to you I have the treasures of Allah. Nor do I have knowledge of what is beyond the reach of human perception. Nor do I say to you: I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me. ' Then ask them: ' Are the blind and the seeing alike ? ' Do you not then reflect ?
  कह दो," मैं तुमसे यह नहीं कहता कि मेरे पास अल्लाह के ख़ज़ाने है, और न मैं परोक्ष का ज्ञान रखता हूँ, और न मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ कि मैं कोई फ़रिश्ता हूँ । मैं तो बस उसी का अनुपालन करता हूँ जो मेरी ओर वह्यं की जाती है ।" कहो," क्या अंधा और आँखोंवाला दोनों बराबर हो जाएँगे ? क्या तुम सोच - विचार से काम नहीं लेते ?"

• Say, ‘You will be taken away by the angel of death, who has been charged with you. Then you will be brought back to your Lord. ’
  तुम कह दो कि मल्कुलमौत जो तुम्हारे ऊपर तैनात है वही तुम्हारी रुहें क़ब्ज़ करेगा उसके बाद तुम सबके सब अपने परवरदिगार की तरफ लौटाए जाओगे

• He said, “ I witnessed what the people did not witness – I therefore took a handful from the tracks * of the angel, then threw it * * – and this is what seemed pleasing to my soul. ”
  उसने कहा," मुझे उसकी सूझ प्राप्त हुई, जिसकी सूझ उन्हें प्राप्त ॥ न हुई । फिर मैंने रसूल के पद - चिन्ह से एक मुट्ठी उठा ली । फिर उसे डाल दिया और मेरे जी ने मुझे कुछ ऐसा ही सुझाया ।"
