Giggling, excited chatter, gossipy exchanges, fun, freedom are all hallmarks of living in a hostel. Living in a hostel is an experience like no other. You learn to accept, tolerate, ignore what is unacceptable, and take it all patiently.

Here are few things you will learn about yourself after living in hostel-
1) You don’t need 20 minutes to shower
Taking a shower requires a bit of foresight and planning. You never really set time limits on yourself in the shower. After staying in hostel, you will learn that it is not a necessity to take longer than 5-10 minutes.

2)You can be independent
There’s nothing like staying alone in hostels. It is the best way to make new friends. It opens you up to meet amazing people.

3) Looking after yourself

Living without family to protect and care for you is the toughest part of hostel living. In your own way you acquire armour to protect you. It is a hands-on training in looking after yourself in times of illness, being mentally tough, coping with being away from your loved ones, and building a support system of hostel friends who will help you to overcome during your stay in the hostel.

4)Living it up and having fun

Hostel life is all about fun, freedom, and friends. Partying in the hostel takes on a different dimension. You get to decide what is right or wrong for you. You become an adult responsible for yourself. Hostel memories stay for life, and hostel friends are forever. Confidence, along with the ability to face life and all that it throws at you, is what hostel-life gifts you.
