Try to make yourself calm : Whenever you are stuck in a situation where you are going to loose your temper easily, start counting till 10 and if needed then count till 100.This will help your mind to get distracted and so your heart rate will become steady once again and your anger will subside itself.
Take a deep breath : If you find out yourself losing your temper in a situation, immediately leave that place. Start breathing deep which will help you to be in a calm mood. When you are angry, your breath becomes shallow.
Take a walk : Doing exercise regularly will eventually help you in reducing your temper level,as your body releases endorphins as you walk.Walking is itself a great stress reliever.
Think of some of the good memories : When you feel your temper rising over something small,start thinking of a funny or good memory you have with your family or friends. Remind yourself that this is temporary situation and it won’t matter in a few hours.
Practice Relaxation Methods : When you are angry, try to imagine a place where you feel calm and peace. Take deep breath and think and visualise that place again and again so that it will help you in getting a calm mood.
