Liverpool Football Club

Liverpool Football Club is an English club in the Premiere League. It is one of the best football teams in the world.It is the most successful English team in European football tournament history, having won five European Cup/Champions League trophies. The club has also won the English top-division league title 18 times.

It was founded in the year 1892 in Liverpool, England. John Houlding was an English businessman, most notable for being Lord Mayor of Liverpool, and the founder of Liverpool Football Club.

The football club has a great history and has won 18 First Division/Premier League titles, 7 FA Cups, 8 League Cups, 5 European Cup/Champions Leagues, 3 UEFA Cups. They, along with Manchester United have won the most tiltles in all of England.

Liverpool has its own stadium, it's called Anfield.It is one of the best stadiums in the world and the atmosphere during a Liverpool game is out of this world. Liverpool has the best fans in the world, very passionate. Anfield can space upto 70,000 people.

With such a great history, Liverpool is doing great now as well, with the leadership of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool reached the finals of the Champions League, where they unlickly lost, but this season they are competing with Manchester City for the Premiere League title and are on pace to reach the semi finals of the Champions League.

The team this season has great players like Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firminio, Sadio Mane, VIrgil Van dijk among others. The unselfishness they have for the collective good has contributed to the success of the club and the fans are loving it.

The team has had some of the legendary players like Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Ian Wright.
