A Lovestory that will keep you in Awe.

A Love Story is that Fantasy which everyone wants to be a Part Of. Some find it in real life, some in books, some in music, some in nature... Which One Are You?

He sat on the cold gravestone in absolute creepy silence, surrounded by a misty breeze and fresh fragrance. He wasn't lonely as the rustling of leaves and chirping of birds kept him company. It was their usual place of meeting. Their own sojourn. He knew she'd come, she always did, for it was the 14th of February. It was a sunny morning yet a chilly one. The wait isn't tedious, because he enjoys the guessing game he gets to play alone. Her floral dress, the way her hair was done, her shoes. It's been 2 hours, the longest he has ever waited. Sadness and pain swept over his heart. He still had faith, for she always came.

Then, after another half an hour of restlessness, she arrived. In a red short dress with her hair down, she strode like a queen with her elegance on. For, she is his queen. A bouquet of roses, a bottle of red wine and a box of Swiss chocolates, his favourite in her hand she smiled. He stood up to smile back. She came and poured wine in two glasses. Her smell was intoxicating in an amazing way. They sat in silence. None saying a word, just immersing themselves in the void of silence that engulfed them. One of the glass was empty while another remains untouched.

Another man walked towards her. He was definitely handsome. He would have been jealous but today yet he feels grateful.

" Can we leave, honey?" He asked.

She nodded, taking his hand. But, then she stopped to adjust the roses. A tear rolled down her soft cheeks, but she's good at shrouding. He understands that because he knows her more than even she knows herself.

She walked away but he was still there. He will always be there for eternity. Fifteen years couldn't diminish their love. For they met every year, to cherish what they shared.

She left, for she had a date. And all that was left on the grey gravestone was a bouquet of roses, two empty glasses of wine and an empty bottle with chocolate wrappers whirling in the wind.

She had loved him enough to acknowledge his absence.
He still loves her for her ailing heart, but also for a soul that is gonna love only him forever.
He can't question the lost love for he doesn't want to accept the guilt that ensues with it.
