Sns - Whole Or Hole..??

SNS refers to Social Networking Sites like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. Most of the busiest and most important work among masses especially teenagers are accessing these social media. It's looking quite sarcastic. But the fact is now changed from accessing Social Networking Sites by people to accessing people by Social networking sites. It seems to be quite awkward and senseless when we just see it in written words but it really has worth in our practical life.

On an average of 2-3 hours per day is spent by the youths on Social Media. This figure has slightly increased in the past couple of years due to technological development and also due to the emergence of the telecom revolution by Jio.

The purpose of accessing social media can vary from person to person. It can be the tool for communication; or can be a medium of stress buster by watching memes, videos etc; can be the search engine for various news, current affairs; or simply just addiction.

Just like a coin has its two sides, head or tail. Everything has its dual aspects both positive and negative. Social Networking Sites are also not an exception of it. Their positive aspects are popular worldwide as being a tool for communication, stress buster, the source for information etc. In fact, nowadays these social media are part of New Media. Now, they have become a "whole" Package for youth to accomplish their life.

But talking about their negative aspects is quite a concern nowadays. Increasing enrollment and spending time on these social media has become a major critical issue nowadays. Youths are being addicted to these social media especially on Facebook and Instagram that they even waste their whole day on them without getting anything even going negative by wasting their both time and energy. Youths are getting distracted from their study and work and ultimately from their goals. These sites put a negative effect on the minds of youths physically, socially and mentally. They make people lazy and restless. Also, the concept of fake news has made a new passage through these sites and with catering to a wide range of public it becomes quite difficult to find its main source. People usually believe in such news which in turn brings distrust, disharmony, hatred and conflict among the society which makes the internal "hole" In the society.
