Has anyone experienced as a child the urge of becoming a spy after watching the‘ Spy Kids ‘ or maybe any James Bond movie ? I definitely have. Just by looking at a few eye catchy gadgets, we get so influenced by them that suddenly a Daniel Craig is born within us. Lets take a recent example of the character named Kabir Thapar or you can say ‘ Bunny ‘ from the movie ‘ Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani ‘. Ranbir Kapoor played Bunny’s character and won a lot of hearts not just because he is Ranbir Kapoor but because of his character. Bunny grows up to become a part of a famous travel tv show, and gets the opportunity to wander all around the world’s extravagant places. This adventurous life of his inspired a lot of young people to pursue a career in travel and mass communication. All these wonderful films created and yet to be created impact us quite a bit but we almost fail to understand.
Being a mass communication student , I have learnt that visuals have a longer lasting impression on our brains. That is exactly why we get so carried away when we are watching a movie that we love. Taking a look back at the golden days of Rajesh Khanna and Shashi Kapoor, those romantic love songs with the heroine’s sari flying and from behind the hero approaching her . All these exaggerations have made love just a slow motion walk between the girl and boy but in reality nothing of that sort happens. I am a big fan of movies and believe in watching all genres but getting influenced just by the right ones .
