Balakot Airstrike.

On 26 February 2019, airstrike was done by IAF in Balakot. Our brave IAF crossed the Line Of Control and attacked terrorist training campswhere they have taken shelter in Pakistan.

The Airstrike was the action of returning a military attack on our paramilitary forces.
IAF stated thatthe jets struck Jaish-e- Mohammedterror camp by killing number of militants and returned back to Indian airspace without engaging with Pakistani aircraft. Pakistan questions for violating Pakistani airspace but denied to the attack onJem terror camp.

After the war of 1971, it was for the first timeIndian Air Force attacked Pakistan by crossing the Line Of Control.

Indian media claimed in the operation twelve mirage 2000 jets were involved in the airstrike.

After releasing the bombs the jet returned back into Indian airspace unharmed.
There was confusion among the sources about the exact target whether the madarsa run by Masood Azan's brother in law was an activeJem camp or not.

Indian intelligence source claim that the camp was located at the hilltop in forest in Balakot with proper resort like facilities for around 500 - 700 people including swimming pools, cooks and cleaners.

India claim that there was very large number of Jem trainers who were planning to launch another suicide bomber attack in India.

In the air strike, around 250 to 300 Pakistani militants were killed.

Business today India stated that evidences such as dead bodies of the militants were being cleared by the Pakistani army fromthe area.
