You want to get fit. But you don't want to join a health club -- it's too expensive, there's no gym convenient to you, or maybe you're just the independent type. Don’t worry, we have got some simple and easy tips for you to work out at home only and remain fit.

The 5 Elements of Fitness

An effective fitness program has five components, all of which you can do at home:

• A warmup

Could be an easy walk outside

• A cardiovascular (aerobic) workout

Do what ever gets your heart rate up like aerobics by watching a nice video or jumping rope; which ever one you enjoy

• Resistance (strength-building) exercises

To build up for strength do simple abdomen and muscular exercises.

• Flexibility moves

Flexibility can best be increased by doing floor stretches and yoga poses.

• A cooldown

The cool down should be quite similar but less tiring than the warm up exercises.

Just be sure to warm up and cool down every time you exercise. choose a harder program for 25 minutes and really push yourself; choose the hilly walk in your neighborhood, or jog instead of walking. No matter what type of exercise you do, be sure to start slowly and gradually increase your workout time and intensity. And don't forget to listen to your body. It's also important to stay tuned in to what motivates you.

Working out at home has obvious advantages. But there are obstacles, too: distractions from the phone, the kids, the dog, the Internet and the refrigerator can derail a workout. And that's if you can get started in the first place. When you're at home, it's easy to find something else that needs to be done. And sogood way to stay motivated and avoid distractions.

Gradually if everything gets going well, you can step up the pace of your strength workout by doing compound exercises.Keeping this in mind, don’t forget to exercise regularly and work hard to remain fit and healthy.
