On May 23 2019,the election commission of India announced the results for the Lok Sabh elections. The Narendra Modi led Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) won 303 seats out of the 543 which also announced the return of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. It was accounted that almost 40% votes were casted in the favour of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) i.e BJP and its alliances. The Indian National Congress (INC) won only 51 seats and in alliance as United Progressive Alliance(UPA) won only 92 seats. The results of 2014 and 2019 clearly states that the people of the country are now looking for a consolidated, centralised and a stable government and the BJP government was in a postion to bestow it.

The election results also exuded that Indian National Congress (INC) aimless ideology and leadership flunked to provide anything to the people of our country.Although it was quite evident that the people of the country was looking for alternatives but the opposition parties failed to provide any surrogate for that.

The EVMS were the most talked about in the general elections of 2019.The opposition censured the ruling party that they are using EVMs for increasing their votes and are influencing the Election Commission of India.Everyone must have observed that the commission gave a open challenge to parties to try and hack EVMs but every party failed and the cent percent legitimacy of the EVMs were proved.

Although there was a sedate growth in the Indian Economy during the Modi regime but the government was able to atleast reach the poorest of the poor, hence in almost every part of the country due to the benefits from the government schemes every people from the deprived class believed that," Modi means everything is possible."

India is a secular country means we follow many religions and hence we follow the multi-party system. But the regional parties just couldn't gain public confidence and hence couldn't win more number of seats. The coalition in Uttar Pradesh and the Eastern part of our country failed miserably. In my opinion the reason behind the failure of the coalitions in every part of the country was BJP was able to cast "Nationalism" as their major ideology.

Although the NDA government is back for the second time in our country with majority of seats and vote shares but the population is looking for alternatives hence the government should take advent steps to cure the problems of the economy because the data that leaked a few days back shows that the unemployment rate in our country was the highest since independence which directly means that we are actually heading towards a financial break down.
