Science, The 1% Of The Code In Our Matrix That Makes Us Different

That’s a kinda edgy ‘Matrix’ reference, but really …think like this…all of your characteristics-height, skin, eyes, hairs, how you laugh…how you cry everything ‘emerge’from you due to the actions of certain proteins. Behind each and every protein there is a synthesizer code embedded in your DNA. And that is what DNA is, a bunch of codes. Most of the codes are junk..few useful, just like a windows 10 update.

Now back to explaining our title: when you compare the DNA between a human and a Chimpanzee, they are 99% the same and only 1% different. From that 1% everything we achieved, everything we do, everything that makes us different. So dude, can’t confess your love to your crush???Well, just go on and tell her. She is much more like you than you ever imagined ;)….science, bro..!

Take a look around, every life form you see, there’s something working in favour of them..to let them survive in their environments.Brawn of elephants, the flight of birds, resilient cell walls of bacterias, to name a few. For us, it is our intelligence.

So, where the hell am I going with all these blabberings??? See, intelligence and inquisition come hand in hand, and the art of using them is science. So, ‘Science’ is a biological trait, which has emerged in humans as a result of millions of years of evolution. So every one of us is a scientist. But who was the first one? Some say it’s the guy who first tried to control fire…some say it’s the guy who first picked up a stone to throw an enemy, but I beg to differ. I think the first Scientist was the man who thought of the god, as the controller…and tried to control the elements by pleasing him. He was inquisitive enough to ask the questions and come up with a solution from his experiences. Yes, science and religion have the same roots, that is human welfare.

But sadly, throughout the middle and modern ages, conflict arose between science and religion…as some people started using religion to control the mob, to seize power. Even today we see dishonest astrologers, dishonest sages feed off human’s fears, exploit the illiteracy. They toy with their followers’ emotions to make money, millions of it. They spread lies, they wage wars.Especially in India, the condition is really bad. But all of these scammers can still be stopped if we educate everyone with basic sciences and teach them to ask questions.

Devoting my humble attempts to write, towards the grand end goal of achieving 100% science literacy in the world I hereby the end this pilot of my new Wryt up series.
